basically they have no rules and thus, its easy to be a good old protestant because there are no requirements, except maybe to give money and act superior... Catholicism demands a lot....no abortion, no divorce, life long marriage to one person, no homosexual marriages, etc...
Catholicism has lots of rules that most Cathlics do not follow, including the clergy, and the chruch does not enforce.

Of course, I’m sure it doesn’t matter that the Catholic teaching of salvation is in blatant contradiction to the words of St. Paul and Jesus himself.
And yes, I’ve read the Catholic catechism, and yes, Catholics demand works for salvation, in blatant contradiction to St. Paul’s writing in Romans 3 and Ephesians 2, and in contradiction to the words of Jesus himself in the Gospel of John the 6th chapter.
Because it’s a sin to believe what Jesus said instead of what a bunch of sodomites in Rome want us to believe, right? Jesus is only our Lord and God, after all.
Seriously, if someone is trying to ply us with false teaching, why wouldn’t we hate that teaching? It’s the work of the devil trying to send us to Hell!
Hopefully you are aware that there is more sexual molestation among non-Catholic clergy than among priests.

As a lifelong Lutheran I can assure you your pope in no Lutheran. He would be tossed from the confessional Lutheran church in a heartbeat not only for his Roman heresies but also for his many heresies against Christianity. As long as he is pope he belongs to the Roman Catholics lock stock and barrel. If they don’t like it they should toss him, but pawning him off on the Lutherans is a no go.
