As part of his commitment to build the military "force of the future," Defense Secretary Ash Carter on Thursday announced a series of "family-friendly" initiatives to attract and retain "the best America has to offer."
"We are not Google. We are not Walmart. We're war fighters. But that doesn't mean we should not be challenging ourselves just like the private sector," Carter told reporters at the Pentagon. [...]
The Defense Secretary outlined the following initiatives: [...] Making military workplaces more accommodating to women when they return from maternity leave: The focus here is to make it easier for new mothers to continue breast-feeding, if they choose to do that.
"To make the transition between maternity leave and returning to work for military mothers smoother, to enhance our mission effectiveness, and to comply with standards that apply to nearly every organization outside the military, I am requiring that a mother's room be made available at every facility with more than 50 women, which means the establishment of some 3,600 rooms across the country," Carter said. ...

Can our military even win a war again?
I have my doubts.
The female soldiers are going to take their babies to work ???
Ping.
—insanity reigns—
New motto of Army Aviation...
“Above The Breast”..
This PC horseshi* will all go away quickly when the next war sinks an aircraft carrier or something similar.
As long as there are enough men in the foxhole to maintain covering fire while the enemy is attacking, it should work.
for the woman who wants it all...fighting in a frontline combat unit and motherhood...
You think Barry Hussein and the 0bamorrhoids don't know that?
i’m trying to picture a US marine standing station with a burp rag and diaper bag.
seriously. wtf
That or the mommies will have to be allowed extra break time to trot across base to the nurseries to breastfeed. There's a reason why pumps and bottles were invented. Use them.
Next, male soldiers will demand extra time to go assist with breastfeeding. Hey, it's only fair.
Excuse me, Sarg, but I need to skip out in the middle of training 3-4 times for the next few months to have quality feeding times with my baby and baby mama. Oh, and I'm converting to islam so need to take 3-4 prayer time outs on top of the breastfeeding breaks. Oh, and I'm considering going trangender so will need time for my counseling and doctor's appointments. Hmm, looks like you can't schedule me for anything for the next year or so. Bye!
LOL, boy we have taken the old muzzy tactic of hiding behind their women to a new height. How far have our warriors fallen and not by choice.
My wife hired a female vet that was on an aircraft carrier and she said 15 minutes out of port the wedding rings came off and there was fun to be had by all. Pregnancy rates ran as high as 20%-30%. Placed a new meaning to “Join the Navy and ride the waves”. She was enlisted by the way but do not know if officers participated, probably not much.(I would hope)
But, wonât that inflame the passionate rapist rages of muslim mad dogs?
well, it is designed to be titillating...
What’s next....recess ???
Oh crap, I thought it said;
“DOD Will Allow Troops On Duty to BE Breastfeed”
Hell, I was gonna try to sign up again.
When women are in Marine Recon, will they take their babies with them on a mission? Will the babies be armed? LIB PC insanity continues.
Oh crap, I thought it said;
âDOD Will Allow Troops On Duty to BE Breastfeedâ
they say an army marches on its stomach...and those rations can only go so far, so...
“Sgt. send out the FLASH alert on the thermal bloom over Iran.”
“Can’t, have to change the babies diaper”
“Send it NOW!”
“The only thing I’m sending is a complaint to Human Resource Command...SIR!”
just one of the million stories in The Naked Service....
