Hmmmm....seems to me like it’s easier to get the peas WITH the shell than it is to strip off the shells and then keep just them.
Even with multiple, specific warnings about the individuals involved, metadata did not make us safe at the Boston Marathon. The problem is not and never has been insufficient data. The issue is data analysis, and making the pool of information larger does not improve our ability to spot the key details. It's not easier to find that needle in a haystack when you add more hay.
Keeping me safe isn’t their job.
