It’s been a rough fifth year in office for President Obama, with overwrought sequestration scare tactics, Scandalpalooza, and the Syrian debacle all chipping away at his leadership street cred, among other things — but this disaster of an ObamaCare rollout is really hammering the heightened disapproval home with what’s starting to look like a majority of Americans. During past job-performance dips, O’s job approval rating has been reliably bolstered by his personal favorability ratings and Americans’ sense of trust in him — but the health care law is helping to erode those usual go-to’s, and quickly. But neither Lincoln’s or Nixon’s committed even slightly close to the number of atrocities 0 has done; not even close.

Every time I see poll numbers and it’s 49 % / 51 % dissaproval ratings I know its complete bull$hit and to add at least 25 % to the disapproval numbers. The MSM are such liars. They probably just make up the numbers.

Will, Kristol, and Krauthammer ALL sat in the those Sunday Political News/Discussion shows from even before Obama’s Immaculate Inauguration and calmly played the role of the token conservative of the [loyal, and not too vocal] opposition.
In the face of the most egregious acts of traitorism (i.e., Obama/Holder on F&F or the dozen others since then) ALL of these nesting politicos sat there and calmly discussed the events as if Obama were a legitimate, law-abiding President who wanted the best for this country. 9If we could only be more ‘bipartisan’ and willing to discuss things....)
The deference these hacks showed to Obama for nigh on 5 years is, frankly, wholly unforgivable. They sold out whatever conservative (hell, even normal patriotic stirrings) for a cush job to sit on a Sunday show and blather/appease/equivocate and then go back to their home offices and hack out some sniveling column during the rest of the week.
They are too late to the party and their little dresses have grass stains on them where they serviced their Democrat job-givers. Damn them.
Any socialist/communist comparison of today’s era with the quasi socialism practiced by Nixon merits no consideration.

Nixon’s downfall was created by reasons I never fully understood. Watergate; Spying on political opposition, when at the time Nixon was leading in the polls. So what he was really looking for? Wasn’t necessary to reveal and to this day baffles me. Because the left and the ministry of onformation is in full control of the media we will never find out what it was.

Over the years I have been looked at as a leper (and called much worse) whenever the mindless people brainwashed in government schools realized that I did not blindly worship Lincoln and place him at the top of the Best Presidents list.
He was such a diplomat and statesman that he presided over a war pitting brother against brother, ending with 1,000,000 casualties - 1.66% of the entire US population of 60 million. Lincoln left us with 600,000 dead Americans and another 400,000 wounded!
To put it in perspective, a war on that scale today would give us 5.5 million casualties with around 3.3 million killed and 2.2 million wounded.

In truth he was a vile, manipulative politician who took the best path for himself, ideologically and politically, and did not concern himself with peripheral consequences or collateral damage.
But he could give a rousing good speech!
Now we once again have a man much like Lincoln sitting in the White House.

This entire bunch is now in the process of trying to get Hillary elected.
The idea is to paint both the left and right as extremist, and portraying Hillary as being a moderate.
You are right that we are losing our stature as a nation. But, honestly, we’ve never been liked by other GOVERNMENTS. Other nations and people may like us, but not other governments. We have tremendous resources. In the past, we’ve coupled that to a government that allowed this huge nation to stand like a colossus on this planet. What other government wants to compete fairly with us? China? A billion people with no resources. Russia? Still saddled with a bankrupt financial system. No other government likes us. The Germans didn’t cheer for Obama because they liked him. They cheered for Obama because they saw that he would weaken The United States.
