This is accurate. As an older freeper I have experience working with old IBM selectric typewriters....used them for years in the pre-computer age. Heh.

And he is correct, you don't get a different typeface unless you change the ball everytime. Tedious business. And no one would have done that in a govt office typing out bc's. Nobody. And yet, that's what had to be done if you believe the LFBC is genuine.

In any case, yet ANOTHER expert weighing in on proof of forgery now going beyond layering and OCR, or kerning. You'd have to be an idiot to believe this thing is genuine. JMO.

Too many have called it a fake for it to be genuine.

The Diversion Continues.

Even if Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama had been birthed in the Lincoln Bedroom of the White House Obama is NOT a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

It no longer matters.

There will be no Buckhead moment.

Give it up — fake or not the issue no longer has any political value.

Granny, I couldn’t agree with you more, but it appears this story is dead. Not one media outlet wants to touch this with a ten foot pole. Too bad, think of the fireworks if Limbaugh or one of the bigs tore into this.

I actually own an old Selectric. Never used it, found it after we moved into this house. Wonder if it is worth anything, maybe as an exhibit in some museum.

Trump is the only one who had proven he can move this story forward; I hope he doesn’t give up on it.

The other issue on the released BC is “kerning”. Letters imprinted by typewriters have a set space per letter. The space occupied is uniform resulting in words that do not look very neat. Draw a vertical line between the letters, it will not touch any part of a letter to the left of the line or part of a letter to the right of the line. Word processors allow letters to shift to form neat words. Same situation except a vertical line drawn between two letters can result in the line touching some part of both letters. Result of this word processing feature creates neat words with letters reasonably spaced apart and pleasing for the eye to see. This is called kerning. Obama’s BC has kerning amongst some of its printed letters, a feature that cannot be produced by typewriters of the 1950’s/60’s and only by computer word processing.

Good article. I hope it helps the cause but so far Mr. corsi and others have not delivered when it counts. I think his book is good. We need to expose this BO ASAP. Timing is everything and he is on the ropes now with staff leaving and economy tanking. A bombshell would put hyim over the edge. How bout that Kenya BC showing up soon?

I agree. The President’s birth certificate is a fake. Sad that nothing can be trusted from our top political leader. And sad that a majority of journalists cannot be trusted to expose injustice. I take comfort knowing that good people will be honest, just and welcomed into the “cives sanctorum” and “the heavenly city” (Ephesians 2:19).

Yup, and only a matter of time before Obama goes down.

"To prove his point, Irey used as a source document the Xerox copy of the Obama birth certificate the White House press staff handed to the press assembled in the White House pressroom on April 27, as seen in Exhibit 1:

From this source, Irey extracted individual typed letters and prepared a chart listing each typed letter in the document, seen in Exhibit 2:

From there, Irey compared different individual letters, producing a chart, seen here as Exhibit 3, in which the different typefaces used in the document are evident by comparison:

To make the point even clearer, Irey annotated differences in typefaces that he felt made the argument the Obama birth certificate released by the White House on April 27 was a composite document constructed by extracting letters as needed from various authentic 1961 Hawaiian birth certificates that had originally been typed on different typewriters, as seen in Exhibit 4:"

Try ROYAL ~ very common brand name back then ~ used everywhere.

Or, in fact, in Hawaii there could well be direct imports from the Japanese gray market ~ my impression, though, was that one Royal was in the mix of the various devices used to create the various parts of the image over a period of time.

TO WIT: Not all of it was typed at the same time, and some of it is simply rubber stamped.

The number of suspicious features in this document is truly amazing - this is probably the fifth or sixth different problem with it I’ve seen discussed on FR.

In this instance, though, I think the author would have a stronger case if he’d done a similar analysis on an authentic birth certificate of that time as a control (the BC of those twins born about the same time?). He’s the expert, but I would be happier with evidence that at least some of those discrepancies aren’t just an artifact of the xeroxing process.

Oh noes. We in typing class were reprimanded if we called the “element” a ball. Twenty lashes for incorrect terminology. LOL just kidding.

I used the various Selectric models all day for some years, and never once did I change the ball in the same document. We only had two type balls anyway; one was script and a novelty for the kind of documents I typed, no need for it, may have come as a package with the typewriter. The federal government would have been at the top of the list for purchase of the typewriters in 1961 which could have made others backordered, not necessarily so, but I know I had one at work by 1961. I also bought a used one for home at some point, but don't know what became of it.

Even if it's not going anywhere, it's interesting.

This analysis has brought out a new point I hadn't seen, many letters obviously not matching, assuming the analyst is on the up and up, so it's probably a composite. Some guy today finds 3 u's with the same pixel configuration. There are so many anomalies, I've lost count, but the kerning may not be an issue as explained by a freeper as well as the odd left corner, probably scanned from a bound book, saw a point about the hospital wasn't called that in 1961 but unless the two Nordyke certs are forgeries (highly doubtful), they were the same with the hospital name.

Also I used a grid, and the beginning of words near the top being completely straight is iffy, inconclusive AFAIC. But some of the anomalies don't need to be there for any reason, like it would be easy enough to pick up one whole word from the same document, so it doesn't make sense to pick one letter off one and another off another, copy, paste unless the whole entry was changed and left what fit intact and built around it. But the hospital name? Oahu? Honolulu? Doesn't make sense they'd have different components from different source documents.

Corsi jumps to the conclusion he was born in Kenya; I'm not ready to make that leap.

So people point out this and that, but nobody attempts to explain why that particular anomaly; a dearth of speculation of what should have been there or should it have been there at all.

I'll put this idea out there. It's pretty obvious the green security paper was layered into the document to make room for the certifications, dates and signatures at the bottom. But I wonder, if there is a document on file, the bottom was cropped off because there is something there somebody doesn't want seen.

I knew this certificate was fake the minute he announced it otherwise he would have produced it in the beginning instead of spending millions to defend it.

The only reason they produced anything was because Trump was getting traction on this story. Obama’s crew knew that Republicans didn’t have the stomach to look any further. Not any different than how the weeny Republicans approach most of the tough issues, without fortitude.

Good analysis as far as it goes. Next check known era Birth Certificates and see if he can detect which letters came from each cert and where...

The phony birth document is nothing short of a thumb in the eye of the American people. I hope this Manchurian President will be gone in 2012. I have little hope that anything would happen that would get him out.

However, this could happen: Just before Zer0 secures the nomination at the DemonRAT Convention, Donald Trump comes on Fox and gives his endorsement of the Republican nominee. Then he gives his own findings on the phony document. He can tell how personally embarrassed he was at the Correspondents Dinner, but continued to pursue an investigation in the entire case through experts he hired. Then he would lay out his entire case and tell the American people that Zer0 is a liar and it was time for him to go.

The Republican Convention starts the week of August 27th 2012. The DemonRAT Convention starts the week of September 3, 2012. To have somebody like The Donald throw out the latest, most accurate look at the Birther issue just before the DemonRat Convention, would throw a well deserved wrench into the event.
