Ann Coulter has something to say about Fridays Republican National Committee Chairman election, and it isnt favorable about the results.
Big mistake not to re-elect Michael Steele Coulter wrote via Twitter, If he werent good, the left wouldnt hysterically attack him.
Steele lost the Chairman election to Wisconsin Republican Chair Reince Priebus. Steele came in second place in the first round of balloting, with 44 votes to Priebus 45 votes, but lost ground in further rounds of voting.

Shut up, Ann.
That was back when he was running for the US Senate (racist Maryland Democrats). That was around the same time Louisiana Democrats were reminding voters that Bobby Jindal wasn't white enough to be a US Senator. They have essentially left Steele alone since he became Party Chair.
Right. I’m surprised you were the only one that commented on that.
I dont remember the left attacking him.
I responded to that comment (ubi supra).
In regards to when he was chairman, they did also, but not to the extent of Palin et al. Why should they, we were doing their job for them.
It’s time that faulty logic die.
The left attacked John McCain. He’s certainly no conservative stalwart but he was a Republican running against Obama so he became a target (yes Leftists I am inciting violence!).
Steele was the RNC Chairman and black. That was enough to make him an enemy to them. It doesn’t mean he was effective at the job or a friend to conservatives.
Bone roller coaster? Sweet.
I thought she wanted Mitt. Did she finally get over her crush on his hair?
Don’t worry. The left will attack and ridicule Priebus soon enough. I suspect it will start from making fun of his name.
I believe that Ann is suffering from a very human case of jealousy. She’s been digging herself into a hole since the night Sarah Palin made her acceptance speech in 2008.
Up until that time, she was the pistol-packin, tough-as-nails, uber-conservative, in heels and a little black dress, of right-wing America.
Sarah more or less knocked her off that pedestal, and she’s been getting dopier and dopier, ever since.
I wish conservatives and pubs would just STFU and let Steele leave quietly with his dignity. He’s a good, decent man who made some mistakes but also did some things well.
Coulter is right that the left hates Steele, but they hate all of us. What she said is irrelevant.
Tomorrow the left will be spewing their usual ignorance with two main themes: 1) The pub party is racist because they booted a black man 2). Making fun of Priebus’s name
Take it to the bank.
I like Coulter but sometimes she says stuff just to stir the pot.
I remember her days as a Romney bot. Not a happy memory.
STEELE WAS A COWARD, a skilled coward. He was attacked bythe left because he was an uncle TOM black, not because he was
not a RINO.
Steele had it all, a solid foundation from which he could not be attacked or criticized, but instead of helping the conservative movement, ,he followed the RINO line, until too late, when he finally saw the truth of the tea party as a grass roots movement which could rejuvinate the GOP. He tried in his last few months to make amends but he just was not powerful enough to do so because of his previous RINO line of policy. Too litte too late.
Now we have a young man who has a record, a crucial role in unseating Feinstein, and who is a mover and a shaker. I believe that our new chairman can look at Steele’s mistakes and not repeat them. If he does, its the end of the GOP.
I disagree with Anne on this score. Steele made his own bed, no one else did.Steele had a chance to be historically significant, but he did not have the courage until far too late in the game. And so he fades, but can still help the GOP if he chooses to work for the rejuvination of the GOP, in ways no one else can.And if he is the man Anne says he is, he will indeed. Time will tell.
Well, Bush wasn’t very good and they hysterically attacked him!
I think Annie hit her head at a Romney rally in 2008 and hasn’t been the same since.
I disagree with Ann on this one. But that is not to say I expect anything better on Steele’s replacement.
He wasn't good at his job, Ann. Hopefully the new guy is better at the basic aspects of the job...we'll see.
Strange.
I just don’t remember the scumbags attacking Steele a whole lot. Certainly not “hysterically”.
And definitely not even on the same planet as Palin or Bush.
Because Steele is an incompetent buffoon. Not to say his replacement isn’t as well
