Ann Coulter calls the results of the RNC Chairman election a ‘big mistake’

Ann Coulter has something to say about Friday’s Republican National Committee Chairman election, and it isn’t favorable about the results.

“Big mistake not to re-elect Michael Steele” Coulter wrote via Twitter, “If he weren’t good, the left wouldn’t hysterically attack him.”

Steele lost the Chairman election to Wisconsin Republican Chair Reince Priebus. Steele came in second place in the first round of balloting, with 44 votes to Priebus’ 45 votes, but lost ground in further rounds of voting.

“If he weren’t good, the left wouldn’t hysterically attack him.”

A point to ponder.

I don’t remember the left ever attacking Steele. I remember Steele defending the left’s attack on conservatives though.

I love Ann, but sometimes she gets it wrong.

Problem with her point is at best it assumes He is the only one that could do it. BS sorry I think there are many whom could run the fund raising better.

Steele is an incompetent jackass. He should never have had the job in the first place.

Like voting for Pope?

Yes, they would. They cannot have a Black seem to succeed in a position of power in the GOP.

She’s wrong here.

He was terrible. The media attacking you does not ALWAYS mean you are the best choice.

I hate saying this as I originally was really happy with his election...and then he opened his mouth and led the RNC to $20 million in debt.

Sorry....time to go.

“If he weren’t good, the left wouldn’t hysterically attack him.”

But it was the right, including a lot of hysterical FReepers, who were attacking Steele.

Okay Ann, I have to disagree with you here.

The left will attack anyone whatsoever with an “R” after his name, irrespective of who he is or what he has done.

That includes McCain and any other worthless RINO.

Now, I wasn’t all against Steele on everything, but the people have spoken and they want someone with far more conservative street cred.
I’m quite happy.

Ann also wanted Christie to be President and isn’t he getting ready to appoint a Muslim as a judge?

Particularly considering that I didn’t hear much in the way of Liberals attacking him.

Coulter’s dislike of Palin has more or less taken Ann off my Radar. I suppose she just isn;e as down home true blue conservative as I thought. Ann seems to have forgotten, if she ever knew, what real freedom is. She lives in new York, what can you expect. That is by its very nature going to isolate you from the rest of the Country.

America is NOT New York or California.

I take Ann with a grain of salt now.

Ann is wrong this time, "Reince Priebus elected new RNC chairman", is not a Micheal Steele republican, Reince is a tea party conservative, dedicated to conservativism. Ann needs to research this, instead of her usual gut felt opinion.

Instead, how about, "If he weren't bad, conservatives wouldn't have attacked him."

Where has Coulter been?
