PALM BEACH, Fla. As national outrage continues over what many consider to be overly intrusive security measures at America's airports, radio talk-show host Rush Limbaugh says the reason the revealing scans and patdowns are taking place now is because the Obama administration is intentionally punishing Americans over the recent midterm elections.
"They're not happy with you people. They're not happy with what you did on Election Day, and this how you're gonna pay for it," the top-rated host said on his program today.
"It's who they are, and people are becoming more and more aware of it now that the election results of Nov. 2 indicate that, and they're just predictably circling the wagons and they're gonna punish you even more for the way you didn't vote, [and] the way you did vote."
Republicans enjoyed a tidal wave of success earlier this month, taking control of the U.S. House of Representatives, winning six U.S. Senate seats and seven governorships. That doesn't include a record 680 seats going to Republicans in state legislatures, and 19 legislatures switching from Democrat to GOP control.
Limbaugh says it's because of that political tsunami that Americans are now being subject to radiation scanning that turns flyers into nude avatars, and those who refuse the scan become subjects of patdown searches that involve touching the genitals of men, women and children.
Limbaugh explained the rationale of Obama and the Department of Homeland Security:
"The American people are the ones who are guilty. The American people are the suspects. The American people are the ones who need to be controlled. Now this is not gonna be contained at airports, folks. Obama and the Department of Homeland Security are promising to start searching subways and buses and trains and people on them....

The fact that he is probably on to something here is a bit destressing, to say the least.
Oh, it’s coming, and here is what happens if we fight back.

He is dead on!!!
Those scanners were paid for awhile ago. Groping is punishment for not using them.

That's doubtful. Remember, Rush is documented to be right 98% of the time.
The attitude of the TSA employees reminds me of the surly and boorish behavior displayed by many public employees following the passage of Proposition 13, the renowned property tax limitation initiative in California.
When walking out of being sexually manhandled from the TSA, the phrase “I’ve been Gurnee’d!” should be uttered, in reference to when Larry tossed Barry’s salad in 1999 in Gurnee, Illinois. Too obscure? Look it up.
Now THAT was wild!
Freep-worthy also. So I posted it.

There is already plenty of security at the airport, but now we are going to spend up to $300 million to install 1,000 scanners.
This is much more about money than it is about security.
The former Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff, represents Rapiscan, the company which is selling these scanners to his former department.
Far too many federal contracts are sweetheart, insider deals.
Companies hire former high ranking federal officials, and then magically, those companies get hugely profitable federal contracts.

Important info. Thanks.
I am starting a separate file on Scanner-gate, just to keep the whole story in one place. Let me know if you see any trails to Obamsky.

Hope pelosi, without her fancy plane, will have to undergo a really intense session with very thorough TSA groper, should she decide against the scanner ( and she will be against the scanner because every screw in her twisted mind will be evident).
OK will do. I assume you already know about this but just in case...
