Lock up your Fathers
Pricey ... OAP spent savings in brothel sessions
Frail Angelo De Luca was in a coma for four days after he fell out of a plum tree at the family home in Biasca, Switzerland. But coming round from an operation his family were horrified to watch their devoted widower dad turn into a randy teenager again. Sex mad Angelo blew £3,000 of his savings in one session at a local brothel after falling head over heels for a hooker young enough to be his granddaughter. "Since my wife died a year ago, Leona has been there for me. It's not only that she's good in bed. She gives me new life force and courage. She is my friend, my only confidant," he said. But his son Daniele has taken control of his dad's two houses and bank accounts after judges ruled that his sex addiction made him unfit to govern his own affairs. "That woman preyed upon my father like he was a Christmas goose," he said. Now the family are suing the hospital for medical negligence. "My father broke seven ribs and his lungs were pierced in the fall. He had to wait for three weeks for surgery. "He had severe pain and the nurse gave him morphine, maybe too much. My father fell into a coma for four days. That must have wiped out a brain function. The one that inhibits the sex drive," he added. But hospital chiefs deny any medical blunder. Director Michele Morisoli said:"Our staff acted to the best of their knowledge and conscience." AN 81-year-old granddad has been put under house arrest by his family after a bizarre accident turned him into a sex addict.
Question: Is it his own money he’s spending?
If so, let him be. House arrest? Bad, bad.
Sounds like “He’s spending my inheritance” syndrome.
One of the very few advantages of growing old is that one
can reach an age at which he can do as he damn well pleases
within the limits of his purse.
LAZARUS LONG
Yeah, noticed that. The Swiss probably have the best socialized medicine available too.
“I mean sow.”
You shouldn’t talk about women that way.
You women here may say......that damn plum tree....sex addict....pervert......malfunction, etc. I look at that picture and I understand. It doesn’t need any explanation....it’s just the way we’re built....
Yeah, but how long for the hookers?
Now we know why all those old men in DC passed ObamaCare.
Is the girl's name "Anna Nicole Smith" ;-)
I have to agree with you on that...its his money and unless they can get a court to determine he’s nuts, the family shouldn’t depend on getting any inheritance.
I think men just take God’s order to go forth and multiply seriously..you can tell by the looks on their faces when they see a hottie, or even a not hottie...

You're absolutely right and your point is entirely relevant and valid. When deciding where to post this thread, I felt that not enough specific, solid information was included in the story to post it in the 'news' area but there are a couple of extremely serious elements to this story that in my view render it inappropriate for the "General Chat" area. That's why I posted it here in the Smoky Backroom....it's difficult to classify in a simplistic way and there's potential for some very serious points to be made about what is happening to Mr. De Luca.
There's the matter of him being judged as 'incompetent' by the Courts and having his decision-making abilities taken away for spending what 'appears' to be his own money and in a legal way. He's being characterized as having been placed under 'house arrest' in the article, although we all need to remember that all of these articles linked here are taken from an original story from the UK's Sun, which although a fun read at times and always a source for some pretty amazing pictures, is also known for occasional embellishment, overstatements of fact and, decades ago, outright lies when they were under different management. It's best to take such statements as 'house arrest' with a pretty big grain of salt, although I of course don't know the family and don't know what lies in their hearts. Astonishing, breathtaking human brutality is commonplace and it may be an accurate phrase to use. Hopefully more information on this story will surface in the days ahead..
There's also the matter of his medical care which you and others have mentioned. I am in the medical field here in the USA and I pride myself on treating all of my patients as if they are my very most beloved family member. The accounts of his treatment as set forth in the article make my blood boil although I have heard many similar stories coming out of the UK and other nations that have Socialized healthcare....so many that I find the Sun account to be quite plausible as to what may have actually happened to him. Zero is definitely taking us down the wrong path vis-a-vis healthcare and his 'administration's' efforts should be resisted every step of the way in the strongest legal manner.
Although at first blush Mr. De Luca's sudden 'sex addiction' (probably not the expression I would have used) is definitely carrying a humorous facade, it's also quite touching when you consider his age, the fact that his wife died a year ago, and his statement:
"Since my wife died a year ago, Leona has been there for me. It's not only that she's good in bed. She gives me new life force and courage. She is my friend, my only confidant," he said.
There are untold millions of lonely people who die every year while feeling that their life force and courage are gone, and without any friend or confidant to comfort them in any way. I wish that everyone could have such things in the winter of their lives, and I'm delighted that Mr. De Luca was able to find them, if even for a short while.
That being said, I'm hoping that my words won't put a damper on the entirely appropriate humorous comments here, some of which have made me laugh out loud. :-)
Carry on ;-)
Some Parkinson’s drugs also cause brain damage and disinhibition.
"...Does any plum tree work?
How about just falling half way?..."
This poor guy is "averting his gaze"...:)
Averting my own gaze in such a circumstance would definitely be a challenge ;-)
