To: The Republican Party
I am a Christian conservative or social conservative. I am Pro-Life. I vote.
Rudy Giuliani is pro-gay, pro-gun control, and pro-abortion.
For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for Rudy Giuliani for President of the United States under any circumstances.
Senator John McCain has waffled on human cloning, has supported experimentation on human embryos, and has attacked prominent Christian clergy because of the, "evil influence that they exercise." John McCain has said of Pro-Life voters, on a public broadcast radio show, that they are, "otherwise intelligent people who say that that's the only issue that will determine their vote." McCain told the San Francisco Chronicle, "I would not support repeal of Roe v. Wade."
For these reasons and others, I state very firmly that I will not vote for John McCain for President of the United States under any circumstances.
Sincerely,
I apologize for the insulting comment and I am glad you clarified your position.
Mormons are not Christians.
Mormons use Christian lingo to refer to meanings which are
entirely other than Christian.
They desire you think they are Christians.
They are not. They are not remotely.
You've just proven your ignorance.
And I'm neither a Mormon or a Baptist.
If Rino Rudy wins the nonination, the rats win. A kiberal like him will split the party.
Good grief. When will you people EVER learn to speak only for yourselves and not masses of others?
I'll wager Romney would (note I said "would") carry almost all of the Mormon vote.
I believe that is for God to decide..
A candidate does not have to agree with me 100% on every issue. That would be asking an impossibility; however, a candidate can't be openly hostile toward Christian principles and get my vote. I heard a republican say "I disagree with Guiliani on almost every issue but I will vote for him because he will keep me safe". I could not disagree more. Our nation has been protected and blessed by the grace of God. If that protection is removed NO MAN is capable of "keeping us safe".
"Shove it. A Mormon is running for the nomination, not a wiccan, athiest or a satanist."
I call your shove it and throw it back.
I've dealt with lots of Mormons here in Nevada for 25 years. Their yards are neat, their kids fed, AND they are a vindictive cult. That's just my real life experience multiplied innumerable times.
Just had another business buddy call me up to have me research some mormons screwing someone out of their inheritance. I have more of these instances than you have time to hear them.
For example, once I was told not to step on the mormon crickets that infested an office or lose my job. Then I have the stories of Harry Reid and the real mafia. Oh and I'm about to turn in a temple Mormon for tax evasion and extortion. Then there was the Mormon hydroponics farm that used "magic water". Or the nepotism for a website designer who was almost totally blind.
Better stop before I get on a roll.

Okay, enlighten this ignorant FReeper. Explain to me the reason why this was done, because I'd kind of like to hear it.
It also means "put a giant band-aid over the city blight known as Baltimordor cuz the mayor can't fix it.
We will NEVER unite here behind any ONE candidate. Hasn;t happened yet and I have been here through every election since 2000.
We have a faction of people who are fringers and third party advocates. It is important to note them and know that they're here to promote their Pat Buchanan or Alan Keyes and to demoralize the supporters of whomever's our GOP nominee.
I am quite happy to await the primaries before I choose my favorite, but I promise you this, I will back and support whomever wins the GOP nomination.
I have relatives who are Mormon, I do know quite a bit about the religion.
You are correct... I will vote for the more conservative of the candidates.. even if it isn't 100%... I would rather have 50% momentum than backwards momentum..
I am the NRA, and I do vote... my Constitutional rights do not end at the New York city limits, no matter who is da mayor or what fancy Madison Avenue label they have...
You certainly enjoy being insulting, don't you?
I don't like to be judgmental, and not all Muslims are the same and most of us are aware of that.
Grant...
