Prayers out for the victims of this innocent community.

Warning! This is a high-volume ping list.
"...It makes me sick that you are more worried about keeping your damn guns then you are about innocent 7 year old girls be gunned down. Spare me I am a RINO? I wear the horn with pride. Meanwhile in the last week 7 little innocent girls are now dead. Hope you feel good about keeping your guns..."
Wow, I don't even know where to begin dissecting your breathless post. Perhaps a few questions are in order:

Hey, Why don't you go and give up your constitutional rights elsewhere? Don't even think you can shove that BS down the throats of lawful gun owners.
If the right lawful gunowner was in the right place in this instance(read: everywhere), this defective "thing" would have been ventilated at the door of the school.
Please crusade elsewhere.
You demonstate your ignorance. This was a WACKO he would have been mixing explosives in his kitchen and strapping them to his body.
The issue here is not guns or the laws that protect the "unalienble rights".
Saying you are a proud rino is the same as saying you are a proud eunach. You are meaningless to the future.
Gun control only keeps the weapons out of the hands of law abaing citizens.
Besides, how do you explain that when loaded guns were kept above the door in homes across this country as an act of responsibility and kids learned how to use them at an early age, for most of this country's history, we didn't have this kind of nonsense. It's not the guns!
So, with that kind of *logic* let's get rid of forks and spoons because they make people fat since they're used to eat with. DUH!
Amendment II
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
The framers of the Constitution recognized that without the ability to protect ones self, people were subject to tyranny.
A drunk driver killed 3 people this past weekend. Should I feel guilty about keeping my car?
While you're at it, work on anti-knife legislation. After all, terrorists use them to behead people and we can't have the risk of knives falling into the wrong hands.

School shootings have been stopped twice by private citizens with guns. But because the gummit doesn't trust good folks with guns around kids in schools only insane a**holes with guns are found around kids in schools.
Just how many inaliable rights are you ready to surrender? I'm keeping my damn guns whether 7 year or 70 year olds are gunned down everyday. Its bleeding hearts like you that have us in such a moral deficiency today.
A total weapons ban would not have kept this nut from murdering these little girls. Evil people will find a way to kill, with or without weapons. Pray for the families of the victims and stop blaming inanimate objects for the evil acts of disturbed people.
It isn't the guns. It is the increasingly immoral and chaotic world we live in.
The children are dead because NO ONE BOTHERED TO DEFEND THEM FROM SOMEONE WHO INTENDED TO MURDER THEM!!!
If the adults [or, God forbid, the children themselves] had been armed, then NONE OF THIS WOULD HAVE HAPPENED!!!
Why do you think the Muslims, the PRC, the North Koreans, the Russkies, and every-dad-gummed-else-body who wants to wipe the USofA off the face of the earth hasn't [yet] succeeded?
BECAUSE WE HAVE THE ARMS TO DEFEND OURSELVES, AND WE ARE READY AND WILLING TO DEPLOY THOSE ARMS!!!
I think your thinking is defective.
Nothing will stop a determined lunatic who wants to kill himself and innocent people except an armed cop in every school - and even that is no assurnace. He could just as easily have rented an SUV, waited at a bus stop, and then plowed into a crowd of kids.
He could have strapped a bomb to himself a la Hezbollah or Hamas and blown himself and the school up and everybody in it.
The issue isn't someone's wish to keep "their damn guns".
The issue here is an obviously grieved individual (you) and your inability to connect the dots.
The right to keep and bear arms is a Constitutional one, and one grounded in long-time American traditions for good reasons. Read the Declaration of Independence, the part about the right of a people to alter or abolish a tyrannical government.
Removing guns from the public will not assure the prevention of incidents like this one, but it most certainly will put one more nail in the already half-constructed coffin of American freedom.
As far as I'm concerned, there is no distinguishing characteristics between a RINO and a Democrat and I doubt very much if this incident was responsible for formulating your already flawed views on the Second Amendment, a free people, and right to keep and bear arms.
~SIGH~ Another willing victim of the public schools. As others have said, gun control's not about the guns....it's about control. You're not a RINO for being ignorant. Lots of good conservatives also believe as you do. Not their fault. They, like you...are sheep. Don't wear the horn....just say Baaaaaaaa and that's okay. You are what you are. I'm a sheepdog and I ONLY HANG WITH SHEEPDOGS. We Sheepdogs live to protect you sheep and confront the wolves of society. The ones who won't be stopped until somebody gets in their path and physically stops them. Like Joe Brower. He and I and all the other sheepdogs of society (everyone with a CCW permit--who's serious about it) will face any danger, armed or not to protect the sheep (you).
defconw I'm not going to lash back at you for your ignorance. The killings in PA were not avoidable. You cannot legislate against insanity. The Amish are a closed society. They are peaceful and refuse to take "security measures." I'll bet their schools are classified as "private." If a gun hadn't been present then the human mind will devise another method. Like say...an airplane? Sound familiar? But what if the teachers or Principal in the other shootings this past week had been discreetly armed and well skilled in the use of said defensive sidearm? Read the essay and try to understand.....
I don't feel so good about my guns today. I no longer think they're big enough, and I don't think I have enough of them. Time for another shopping spree.
What does a responsible, law abiding individual keeping guns have to do with this horrendous crime other then perhaps if such a person was in the vicinity, they may have been able to prevent it? People like you scare me.
defconw, I feel very good about keeping my guns and I feel very bad about those precious little girls getting raped and murdered by a madman. It makes me sick to know that any child has to go through the evil that adults do to them. That said, it was NOT the guns that killed them, but rather it was a madman. Responsible gun owners don't do this kind of thing. IF people are determined to kill, and they don't have access to guns, they will do it with explosives, swords, knives, baseball bat, etc., because THEY want to kill. The weapons they use is NOT the problem!
Even if "every" gun in America were banned and given up by law abiding citizens, criminals would never give up their guns. That's because they're criminals and that's what criminals do. They break the law. The only difference is that if a man came to my house to rob and rape me, I would have NO way to defend myself. It's only a matter of time before terrorists are going to start attacking Americans again, and we have to have a way to protect ourselves and our loved ones, or in another "Katrina" fiasco, Americans have the right to defend ourselves. You saw how the government was unable to protect the citizens in New Orleans.
IMO, there is another answer to these school shootings. Locks! As soon as the bell rings, the administration needs to lock all outside doors. As soon as each class period changes, those rooms need to be locked during school too. THAT will keep any nut case from entering the school like the last two killers did. It may not be the perfect answer, but it would be a lot less expensive and a way to make kids much more secure, and they could do that right NOW! It would also give school security a better chance to spot someone or something that signals danger. They would be in the halls during class change to make sure kids are safe then too.
