The criminals will still get the guns, because they're criminals. Anyone who is willing to break the law doesn't care if owning guns is illegal or they wouldn't be criminals. All we'd have is a situation where the unarmed populace it at the mercy (HA!) of the armed criminal element; who again don't care if what they're doing is illegal, or they wouldn't be doing it. Anyone who wants to do something like this so bad will get the guns on the black market. If he didn't have a gun, he'd killed them some other way. The Amish won't fight back and a bunch of small girls couldn't anyway.

Gun control only keeps the weapons out of the hands of law abaing citizens.

Besides, how do you explain that when loaded guns were kept above the door in homes across this country as an act of responsibility and kids learned how to use them at an early age, for most of this country's history, we didn't have this kind of nonsense. It's not the guns!

So, with that kind of *logic* let's get rid of forks and spoons because they make people fat since they're used to eat with. DUH!
