I don't know what effect -- if any -- the poll will have on the future of this website's science threads. But it's certainly worth while to know the general attitude of the people who frequent this website.
Science isn't a democracy, and the value of scientific theories isn't something that's voted upon. The outcome of this poll won't have any scientific importance. But the poll is important because this is a political website. How we decide to educate our children is a very important issue. It's also important whether the political parties decide to take a position on this. (I don't think they should, but it may be happening anyway.)
If you have an opinion on this subject, go ahead and vote.
BTW, I understand TToE extensively. Used to believe in it decades ago.

Folks have admitted faking crop circles, and demonstrated how they did them.
You don't believe them, but insist on some extraterrestrial or other extraordinary cause.

Only in the sense that you've demonstrated a new level of ignorance and assumption . . . which is kind of . . . fascinating in it's new level of outrageousness.
I've studied the crop circle phenomena from the best researchers and met the best one. You evidently haven't.
I don't care that much what folks think about my convictions about the scientific evidence re crop circles. I'm a pretty good assessor of evidence and solid research.
I don't know what to make of Hoagland et al. He's entertaining, fascinating. But as in most of these areas, what's disinformation. What's 100% fabrication. What's truth. God only knows.
But, given the globalist puppet master and their massive expenditures in UFO technologies . . . I really wouldn't be all that surprised to learn some months to years hence that we've had bases on the moon and Mars for some time--unless the ET's have blocked them.

Accepting the world as it is . . . is going to become startlingly difficult before too awfully long.
And the rate of change is going to accelerate astronomically.
Maintaining one's sanity in the midst of that will require a close relationship with God. Nothing else will be sufficient, imho.
Men's hearts failing them for fear will be the norm. Everyone will know someone who's died of fright from increasingly daily events.

Especially given that the Alzheimer's blunted or removed most of her more redeemable qualities and left her insufferable ones ragingly intact!
Thankfully, God's Grace proved sufficient. And, constantly reminding myself that she once wiped MY bottom.
I tend to doubt crop circles and livestock mutilation as being caused by extraterrestials, yes.
It steals our loved ones a piece at a time, until we're left with an empty shell of a person. I can certainly empathize about your mother. Bless her heart, and yours. It's not an easy thing.
Initially, the cattle mutilations evidenced a technology to evidently literally cut between the cell walls--probably with a laser like device.
In recent decades, the picture has evidently become more muddled with tales of government types doing such with their own UFO craft and staging them to implicate the ET's.
But, clearly ET's have been at it, probably much longer and much more extensively than we have.
And, some people do not think that even now that we have the technology to drain absolutely every drop of blood and to do the other technically challenging aspects of such.
But the animal mutilations are not the most disturbing aspect--it's the vastly underreported human mutilations of exactly the same sort--all with the humans clearly awake, alive, as long as possible, while undergoing the horrific procedures.
The nonsense that wolves and such are doing such is just ignorant. Predators and other animals will leave the carcasses a wide berth for months. And, they tend to attract no flies and to fail to deteriorate for very extended times.
Again, Linda Moulton Howe is a great expert on the subject.
The NM Congressman who drove a GAO study into the thing eventually muffled and sort of aborted the explanations he might have given. The consensus was that he'd been ordered in no uncertain terms to do so. Then, he died not that long afterwards of cancer, as I recall.
BTW, just as a thought experiment . . . how would
YOU
explain
the following evidence:
1. cow heard bellowing as she's observed rising in a cone of light into a large silent craft hovering overhead
2. There's no tracks into the new fallen snow except the cow's tracks.
3. The cow is later dropped roughly from where she was lifted though from a few to several hundred feet.
4. No predators will get anywhere near the carcass.
5. The local law enforcement admit to receiving lots of reports of such but refuse to comment further or to have anything to do with the case.
