MANSFIELD, Ohio The deadly mix of drugs that has killed addicts in Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia has reached Ohio.
Mansfield police have identified the powerful prescription painkiller fentanyl in six of the last 10 batches of heroin confiscated by police.
Mansfield police laboratory director Anthony Tambasco said he decided to start looking for fentanyl after hearing about the deaths in Detroit just before Memorial Day. Authorities there have confirmed 100 fentanyl/heroin deaths. Another 60 were confirmed in the Chicago area.
"Its not something you normally look for," Tambasco said.

Yeah, maybe they can sue the manufacturer. ;-)
Patches got his nickname from Howie Carr, Radio personality and Boston Herald columnist. It was a takeoff on the song "Patches" by Clarence Carter in reference to him being the latest new hope for the Kennedy family's political fortunes.
One day papa called me to his dyin bed Put his hands on my shoulders And in tears he said Patches, I'm depending on you son To pull the family through My son, it's all left up to you
We had an RN in our town arrested for stealing those patches off of
a coupla of patients in hospice care.
They had her pic in the paper, you wouldn`t have thought she was a junkie by
looking at her.

I was sorry to hear about your Mother. My husband died over a year ago from cancer and its been rough. The Fentanyl patch was about the only thing that helped with the pain.
Provide ONE quotation from ANY libertarian who has said this. Or admit that your post was just a stupid lie.
If there is a downside to this, I haven't seen it yet.
I expect there were those who during Prohibition took the same attitude toward deaths caused by tainted 'bathtub gin.' Were they right?
Provide ONE quotation from ANY libertarian who has said this. Or admit that your post was just a stupid lie. Know your rights
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1382278/posts?page=21#21 Seems that legalizing all the drugs is the Libertarian dream.
"They should legalize it, then the problems would go away with meth. Right?" G32
"Criminalizing it hasn't worked; by LEGALIZING it for adults, we'd put that market in the hands of people with an incentive to not sell to kids." Know your rights
Putting that market in the hands of people with an incentive to not sell to kids is not "heaven on earth."
Now, can you support your statement, or was it just a stupid lie?
This in no way supports your claim that "Libertarians post that if we allowed this to all be legal there would be heaven on earth."
Now, can you support your statement, or was it just a stupid lie?
I supported my correct statement just fine, all people have to do is go back and read my reply to you. The one where I used you as an example of the very point. :-)
Have a nice weekend, and remember... JUST SAY NO!
That's another falsehood ... and every reader with more than two brain cells to rub together knows it.
Hey I gave you your own words backing up what I said.
Don't you love it? :-)
True.
backing up what I said.
False. Nothing I said implied heaven on earth. Your claim remains a baseless stupid lie.
Heaven on Earth means something which is a really good thing.
It is all the same.
Good thing in your opinion.
Heaven on earth.
Best of all worlds.
Nirvana.
A great result & so on.
It is all the same.
It is all the same.
Wrong. Learn English.
This is like heaven on earth.
Oh man, this is great.
Doesn't get any better.
Wow, this is a great result.
I'm loving this.
What if anything would be the SUBSTANTIAL difference in any of these remarks?
They all indicate approval.
That is the only synonym for "heaven on Earth" on your list ... and the statement you quoted didn't imply that either. Your claim remains a baseless stupid lie.
If someone thinks drugs are heaven on earth, that is just an extreme approval of the drugs (as an example).
How do you figure that if someone uses other phrases to utter the same approval that it isn't the same?
The way you think this through is as if you drive a bike and I drive a car, but we are not both traveling because you and I are using slightly different transportations to get to the same destination. That won't fly KYR.
You are playing semantics because you were busted.
I do appreciate your effort though. Thanks...
Asking what the meaning of is is didn't even work or look good for Bill Clinton, your not doing any better.
