The exotic dancer who accused members of the Duke University lacrosse team of raping her at a party may have been slipped a date-rape drug, according to an interview with the second dancer in the May 1 issue of Newsweek that appeared on stands today.
Newsweek also reported that a defense attorney said some DNA evidence had been found under the accuser's fingernails, but that the first round of DNA testing - which did not incriminate any of the 46 players swabbed - was inconclusive about identity. Results from a second round of tests are expected this week.
The accuser, a 27-year-old black college student and mother, said she was raped and beaten by white students on March 13 after performing for them at a house party. Two lacrosse team members, Collin Finnerty, 19, of Garden City, and Reade Seligmann, 20, of Essex Fells, N.J., were charged Tuesday. Defense lawyers have maintained their clients' innocence, offering a detailed timeline and time-stamped photos from the party that they say throw the woman's story into doubt.

Yes, the police would have found an outstanding warrant on Kim. Isn't standard procedure to run a check on the car and driver?

Those threads occurred very early in the case. Most commenters suggested that she'd taken drugs before her appearance, and that this is to be expected from people of her class, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Now we have a different approach to the drug thing ~ that maybe Stripper #2 was drugged at the event!
Most likely some of those so anxious to condemn her for being a druggy in those earlier threads are in here angrily rejecting the idea anybody could have slipped her a date rape drug (even though this happens all the time, and the symptoms are consistent with the events as reported by Kim and others at the house at that time).

If the DA knew that a date rape drug had been used and toxs reports said so...don't you think he would have included that in the info he gave to the GJ...it would have bolstered his case even more......

Kim doesn't pull in to the lot and tell security she has a woman that needs help, she says that she (KIM) needs help, she says there is a girl who refused to get out. Now, where did Kim try to get the AV out of her car before pulling in?

If the alleged victim had been given a date rape drug, ---as I previously posted---she would have no memory of the supposed rape.......
You're thinking of "Roofies". Ketamine and GBH exhibit more nearly the symptoms reported in this case.
