The exotic dancer who accused members of the Duke University lacrosse team of raping her at a party may have been slipped a date-rape drug, according to an interview with the second dancer in the May 1 issue of Newsweek that appeared on stands today.
Newsweek also reported that a defense attorney said some DNA evidence had been found under the accuser's fingernails, but that the first round of DNA testing - which did not incriminate any of the 46 players swabbed - was inconclusive about identity. Results from a second round of tests are expected this week.
The accuser, a 27-year-old black college student and mother, said she was raped and beaten by white students on March 13 after performing for them at a house party. Two lacrosse team members, Collin Finnerty, 19, of Garden City, and Reade Seligmann, 20, of Essex Fells, N.J., were charged Tuesday. Defense lawyers have maintained their clients' innocence, offering a detailed timeline and time-stamped photos from the party that they say throw the woman's story into doubt.

There are bath rugs/mats identified, but also "one large rug" ~ from the area of the party perhaps?
OK, and here we have young men who happen to have KY-Jelly in their bathroom?
'some series 'splainin' to do.
How do you know it didn't belong to Crystal?
>>OK, and here we have young men who happen to have KY-Jelly in their bathroom?<<
And do you happen to know that the KY Jelly did not come from the purse or make-up bag of Crystal, or Kim??
I don't---
I really don't think your state of consciousness controls whether or not you are kidnapped, that being the superior crime ~ however, that Berkely article I referenced has a cite in there to another article that indicates you can die from these drugs.
Never mind...
The security guard says she smelled alcohol on the driver, but not on the alleged victim. She says that the alleged victim "couldn't talk at all.
She was out of it." The security guard also suggests the alleged victim may have been high on drugs. She had a series of conversations with the woman who was driving the car, but did not speak with the alleged victim.

Exactly maggie. So if a drink was spilled Kim should point out where and the carpet could be tested for date rape drugs. But I'm a dumb accountant, so I've probably got it all wrong. Maybe the drug evaporates when mixed with alcohol?
We have long threads on FR that discuss little more than that call, and how Kim later changed her story.
Kim and Crystal are just PARAGONS OF VIRTUE--as my Mother would say........SNORT!!!
I'm not sure if all three were bathroom rugs. One is labeled small bath mat. The other two are large rug and green rug. Those are rather vague descriptions.
The stripper could have also taken drugs then drinking on top of that would have caused exactly what happened to her. This crapola this second stripper said is so much speculation, I can't believe it's even news.
I need some legal help---Would not administering an unlawful drug against a person's wishes be a seperate crime?
1:22:00 Kroger security calls 911 about AV in stripper #2's car
From Missliberty.
Two 911 calls. Says Kim made one of 'em. You just said Kim didn't make a 911 call, right?
She was probably on xtc, imho.
Yes....like kidnapping it would have been included in the indictment from the GJ...
I don't know.
She claimed to have picked this drunk stripper up off the side of the road. No suspicion on her at that point. Maybe she ate some mints and played the good samaritan role?
But if the cops had checked her ID and ran a check, they'd have known she had a warrant out. Right?
Given Kim's proclivities (according to many on this thread), she'd no doubt taken it with her if it was "Crystal's".
Doesn't look like Nifong's pandering for the black vote has paid off.
Despite Simeon's efforts and the Nifong-approved sweetheart bail deal for Kim, the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People did not endorse Nifong.

Maybe that little skinny guy. ROFL
Both rohyphnol and GHB cause amnesia and muscle relaxation.
GHB is flushed from the system quickly- rohypnol can be detected by a urine test done within 72 hrs, preferably 48 hrs.
I doubt that any testing was done for the presence of these drugs specifically because the AV was able to give details of her alleged attack.
Had she arrived unconscious, disheveled, clothes torn off and with no memory of the attack, that would have been a red flag to test.
Alcohol potentiates the drug, so the AV would have been unconscious for a long time afterwards , plus she would have serious medical side effects- low blood pressure, respiratory distress, etc.
Which would have alerted the SANE nurse to the possibilty of a date rape drug.
The AV had a death grip on the stick shift in Kim's car-both drugs cause muscle relaxation.
I doubt Nifong has a positive test for date rape drugs, because he would have shouted that from the tops of every satellite truck surrounding his office.
A date rape drug scenario would make Nifong's job harder- his victim would have little or no recall of the events and without DNA and eyewitnesses , her 100% identification of the attackers and detailed accounting of the attack would be quickly shot down by the defense.
Nifong can't have it both ways.
