Gay Parents Line Up For White House Easter Egg Roll Tickets

WASHINGTON -- Hundreds of gay and lesbian parents hoping to take their families to the annual White House Easter Egg Roll plan to start lining up Friday evening to make sure they get tickets for the Monday event.

Thousands of tickets — an estimated 16,000 last year — are given away on a first-come-first-come basis beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

National Park Service officials said Wednesday that children of all ages may attend as long as there is at least one child 7 years old or younger, and no more than two adults per group.

First lady Laura Bush's office issued a statement saying all families are welcome to attend.

"Christ, our Passover, is sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us keep the feast." Yep, sounds pretty familiar.

Much as anyone may disapprove, it's not illegal to be gay.

Depends on whose law you adhere to.

The straight guys talk about their own sexual gratification a hell of a lot more than the gay guys do.

Not on the White House lawn at Easter, with a jillion kids and mothers all around.

The whole point of Soulforce's being there is to make that declaration -- to bring up the subject of sexuality at a press-rich public event for families, which the HRC types intend to turn into a tour de force of guerrilla theater on gonadal politics.

Either the Pubbies acquiesce and endorse, which is a major political victory for the enemies of heteronormality, or they stand by and watch the Alinskyites disrupt and demonstrate -- also a victory for the bad guys.

From here we read the following:
Thanks to the initiative of Family Pride and organizations ranging from Michigan's Triangle Foundation to the national Metropolitan Community Church, PFLAG and National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, over 250 LGBT-headed families with over 400 children will be out on the lawn as well.

Event organizers have stressed that they are not attempting to turn the annual children's event into a political circus.

They may say they're not trying to turn the event into a political circus but yet, here they organizing a large homosexual crowd that will wear multi-colored leis to make this a political circus.

Last time I checked President Bush was the President to all the people of the United States, and not just the ones that you deem acceptable.

Everyone I know would see this act by the homosexual parents as a publicity stunt, and will see President and Mrs. Bush exude the class that they have. Who will look the worse? People like you that make a big deal out of it.

Regardless of their parents motives, this event is for the children, and that is how it should be.

Again, let me reiterate, President Bush is the President of the United States, and all of it's citizens, regardless of who they are sleeping with at night.

Alcoholics who quit drinking are still alcoholics, and most of them still have an attraction to alcohol.

You know there is a difference between genetically-acquired alcoholism, and habituation. The former runs in my family, since we're Irish (it's sometimes called "the Irish disease" for that very reason). The latter is functionally no different.

An alcoholic is still alcoholic, whether it's his fault or not, and society has the right and power to deal with him according to its lights.

Well, since everything seems to be a political consideration for you, I can see how those would be the only two options that come to your mind.

There is a third: George W. Bush and Laura are their usual gracious selves, no matter what happens, and the kids (remember, this is about the kids) have a good time. If some people decide to become disruptive, they'll be escorted out.

If you weren't so certain of your own sanctimony

Personal attack = strike one.

If your conscience permits you to advocate the exclusion of gay people from an event that has always been open to all, and to use it as an occasion for the lowest forms of locker room references and snickering, well, that's your business.

Straw man = strike two.

Care to address the topic at hand?

Specifically - those that suffer the homosexual disorder and feel predisposed to engage in homosexual activity and or those that choose to engage in homosexual activity or those that with malformed conscience that support the homosexual agenda -- ALL wishing to promote or seeing nothing wrong with the promotion of the sexual disorder in a public venue at an activity for children?

Am I whistling Dixie expecting to see something authentically premised and as such something other than rhetorical support of the homosexualization of society from you?

If you have a problem with the Easter Egg Roll, and who is allowed to attend, I suggest you send Laura Bush an email.

It will, no doubt, receive due consideration.

If public decorum has degenerated to the point that homosexual and lesbian couples cannot reasonably be banned from such a venerable and "clean" event as the White House Easter Egg hunt, it is time to end it. It is time to stop the slow but steady degradation of American life and who better than the President and First Lady to do so. At this rate, in a few years, we will see this event opened to the underage sex partners of adults. The same people who praise the "tolerance" shown here will deride anyone who dares criticize the increased "diversity" and "inclusiveness".

Yes. Illegals are, to the pure, every bit as despicable as gay people.

Sink, why don't you just tell us what you really think about conservatives?

How about a jump-start?

How about (and you can try out your own synonyms),

You can mix and match on those, or change the word-order around. But does it come pretty close to how you feel about these conservatives you're posting to on this conservative forum?

You can tell me, I won't tell anyone.

Last I checked the only one the President can enforce is US law. There are all sorts of religious laws that cannot be enforced ... that of sharia for instance.

Individuals may adhere to God's law ... but in the US we adhere to man's law.

And the gays score an enormous political victory -- in the Republican Party, the only refuge of the vast majority of people who stoutly disagree with everything that the gays and their political machine represent.

You want that?

I guess you will have to add me to the 10% that think it's ridiculous.

If "Conservative" means thinking a political stunt on the part of homosexual parents, is worse than nuts taking the fun out of it for the children, count me in!!

I personally think homosexuality is a sin, but it is one sin that I figure is up to God to sort out. As long as it doesn't include pedophilia, I could care less what people do in their bedroom.

No need to bait me with hyperbole. The 'gay cause' is using gay parenting to justify homosexual access to children for what else -sexual exploitation. The sexual orientation curricula in pubic schools is but one example of activits' influence and intent. Their purpose is to make children sexually aware so gays and pedophiles can exploit them at earlier ages. Gays have used 'gay rights' and hate crime hyperbole to establish and expand their access to children. Society will make no distinction in protecting children; pedophiles are pedophiles. 'Gay parenting' will expose the 'gay cause' for what it truly is: narcissistic, sociopathic sexual exploitation.

---

Is that why so many wish to see any mention of God removed from currency, schools, courts etc?

God can handle being ignored,, man just has to be on the look-out when God decides he wants his attention.

I guess the Bible and other religious writings that do not endorse homosexuality or deviancy in any form are just so much fluff and can be ignored as one wishes.

In the end, Im sure we'll all get a final instruction and have it settled for all time to his ( or her) satisfaction.

Sharia is God's law too. How would you like being forced to obey since it is the law of the land?

We are lucky in the US since we have no official religion. I cannot be forced to obey the laws of some else's God.
