"That will be tough on the Darwinists."

But not those teaching evolution.

"The Milwaukee limit on vouchers was raised recently from 15,000 to 22,000 and there are still cries for more. How long will this pent up demand for choice be suppressed?"

Quite some time. Government schools aren't going away any time soon, unfortunately.

If the only argument you have is that government school's need to be abolished, please don't ping me again.

Thus my point -- it's ridiculous of you to use dogs as an example of the kind of genetic diversity that "could" arise from an original population of only five ancestors, because the specific genetic diversity found in dogs has been determined, multiple times by independent methods, to be *far* beyond what could have resulted from such a small starting population.

I'm sorry this is so hard to sink in, but SOMEWHERE, back in time, there HAS to be a "Small Starting Population" of SOMETHING, if the ToE is to be believed.

I think you are forgetting that Fester and Elsie are here to discredit religion, and doing a fine job of it.

I sure HOPE so!!!

You see, we DON'T like RELIGION at all!

Matthew 7

21. "Not everyone who says to me, `Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
22. Many will say to me on that day, `Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'
23. Then I will tell them plainly, `I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'

(One of) his "AHA" moments was when he realized what was going on: if a dog breeder only lets the smallest dogs reproduce, he eventually winds up with terriers and chihuahuas.

What's WRONG?

He'll end up with SMALLER dogs!

NOT terriers and chihuahuas!

Note Chapters XIX and XX. Not only has male selection shaped the female, but female selection has shaped the male.

Like this??

1 Corinthians 7:4
The wife's body does not belong to her alone but also to her husband. In the same way, the husband's body does not belong to him alone but also to his wife.

When Martin quoted scripture to prove that the sun revolves around the earth, he was using scripture to lie.

He WAS?

Did he KNOW at the time that it DIDN'T?

Religious people have a long history of quoting scripture to prove scientific ideas are wrong. It is a misuse of the Bible, and it is counterproductive. It turns people away from the Bible.

I think it's more like this:

Religious people have a long history of quoting scripture to prove SINFUL LIVING are wrong. It is a CORRECT use of the Bible, and it is counterproductive. It turns people away from SIN and to the Savior!

Or not; 'cause they like what they're doing to much to worry about their soul.

You expressed a position that Noah, sons and spouses could have populated the earth is not biologically valid.

It would seem simple enough to test. (Probably couldn't get PEOPLE to do it (except maybe those from one of them Appalchaian [sp is WRONG!] states that we Uber-men like to mock) but perhaps RABBITS.

Take 4 boys and girls and LET 'em go!
