Missing: Natalee Holloway participated in a trip with 125 seniors from Mountain Brook High School to Aruba in the Caribbean. In the early morning hours on May 30, 2005 Natalee was seen leaving a nightclub and getting into a vehicle. She failed to turn up Monday morning for her return flight home and she has not been seen since. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Profile: Natalee Holloway was born on October 21, 1986 to Beth and Dave Holloway. She grew up in the close-knit community of Mountain Brook, a suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. She was very popular and respected by her classmates and had a reputation among peers at being very intelligent and focused on her future. She lived up to her reputation, graduating as an honors student from the Mountain Brook High School.
Extracurricular Activities: During Natalle's high school years she participated several extracurricular activities including: The American Field Service - A club which interacts with the foreign exchange students. Dorians Dance Team Future Business Leaders of America Mu Alpha Theta - Math honor society Natural Helpers - A peer based emotional support group. Outdoors Club Spanish Club Spanish Honor Society Spartan Pride - School pep group. TASC - Teens Actively Serving the Community
Future Goals: Natalee received a full scholarship to the University of Alabama. She planned to major in Pre-Med, in order to pursue her goal of being a pediatrician.

The moderators are more than tired of the repeated abuse reports on these threads regarding this non-stop juvenile food fight. Knock it off.
It's interesting that those who come her to disrupt go on and on about a person's right to post their opinion. But then they go and attack others for doing the same.
Someone gave me a hard time about posting an article that was not directly related to this case, but was something I thought people here might find interesting.
They believe in freedom of speech for themselves, but no one else!

........I think this is the verbiage they are using for kidnapping. Wonder if they will try to determine if she knew she was getting into a private vehicle vs a cab. If she thaought she was getting into a provate vehicle, but them wanted out how would they classify that? I'm just thinking out loud here..........
In the US and other law abiding civilized countries it is called false imprisonment...I don't have a clue about Aruba...
I know many here suspected the Kalpoe attorney of spinning the other night on Greta. He was definitely after the kidnap angle, saying that Natalee was drunk (doing belly shots), left of her own free will and refused to get out of the car when friends asked her to.
Don't know either. This is the first time I have seen anything official in writing about the reason someone is being held. I still think these are the exact same reasons that Joran and the brothers were held when they we all areested back in June. What makes Tito's statement invalid in that sense is the pre-meditated murder. If the brothers were being rearrested because of the claims of the new witnesses (3-4 girls) murder would not be in there.
Kidnapping/false imprisonment could apply to the new witnesses, but not murder. But...it is Aruba so we may have to wait for further explanations of what all this means.
Tito has relatives that are involved in many things on the island, from Carlos and Charlies to real estate. He's connected...just not sure HOW connected he is.

One thing I learned many years ago is ... it is impossible to do anything about what other people say. I simply asked you to give it a rest because there is one of you and several of the others that are commenting negatively back to you. You seem reasonable. Thought I would ask you nicely to stop your side of it. Someone has to be the bigger person.
Jossy said the 16 year old contacted a child advocate a week or two ago. She was afraid to tell her parents. She is the one that told them about 2 other girls that had similar experiences.
And what's the deal with the possibility of a premeditated murder charge.
I admire posters of any opinion or pursuasion who shrug attacks off and get back to the subject at hand.
A little back-and-forth repartee and stilletos is cool, but to drum things to death in ever-increasing crescendos is unbearable.

Interestingly, this is the first response posted regarding that post. That is not what started this, but you can keep looking if you wish.
That has to be Natalee, don't you think? Pre-meditated? i don't know. Two things come to mind:
Try for pre-meditated and settle for 2nd degree, or,
There's more information that we have not heard that could be coming from other witnesses that were interviewed.
If this is some sort of rape club, may someone had to do the ultimate initiation in order to get in....that's pure speculation...not soemthing that has been reported anywhere.

Thank you. This is a discussion forum, its goal is to pass out collective time with an intellectual pursuit we find intriguing. Why do we read trashy novels or watch sit-coms? I don't accomplish much by watching the daily reruns of Beverly Hillbillies but it gives me something to do while I fix and eat my dinner.
In addition some people feel they are keeping a distant light burning for the family and I suppose in some way it makes them feel like they are a part of the investigation.
