Previous Natalee Holloway Threads
Firefighters drain a lake, Tuesday, July 26, 2005, in Oranjestad, Aruba searching for Alabama teenager, Natalee Holloway, who vanished nearly two months ago while vacationing in the island. Edwin Comemencia, a police spokesman, confirmed that the draining of the lake across from the Marriott Hotel was part of the investigation into Holloway's disappearance but would not comment further. The draining was expected to take up to 24 hours. (AP Photo/Pedro Famous Diaz)
Texkat,
I read that the gardener works for a currently jailed nephew of JM? Is this confirmed?
No, no offense taken!
Stick around if you're so inclined. Yes, the media does latch on to some stories, it's true, and it's fine to point that out.
I get more than irritated by their constant hurricane blather, but that's just me. Some people are interested in that for their own reasons.
I'm sure if you're one of millions in the path of the next big one, you would want to know about it, and also that will bring in a huge audience.
Nancy Grace has said that the perps return to the crime scene as if drawn by a magnet. Sometimes over and over. The witness who saw the three may well be the "hero" in this case.
I agree. Whoever finally came forward, for whatever reaseon, if it leads to the answers, has dinally done the right thing. See tagline.
"Hello Everyone! Dan at Riehl World VIew has posted an unconfirmed report in the Diario that Natalee's remains were found in the pond after midnight last night."
Oh my God!
I don't know what to think. But I hope that it's not true and she will be found alive eventually. Hoping for a miracle.
Spellcheck is my friend. Spellcheck is my friend...
If I were in the same circumstances as Beth, I would plaster my image all over TV too. I'd be screaming at the tops of my lungs. That's what has kept this from becoming "just another case".
For whatever reason, some families don't want that exposure.
I guarantee you if someone goes missing and a family member agrees to appear on TV about it we would be writing threads about them too.
It's all about how much publicity a family wants.
There was blood at the rail.
From SM:
"I can read parts of the diario article by knowing Spanish, and I see "much less confirmation" so it sounds really iffy to me. bluebob Posted: Thu Jul 28, 2005 12:11 pm "
Oh sure, Spec, wait until Court TV has a good 'live' trial. lol
See post #126 and later.
And a handprint. Anyone want to start a new thread on the cruise ship mystery?
RE: Finding Natalee's body in the pond
Please go over to the Riehl World View link and follow the posts on this report. They are most likely trying to keep the finding quiet so that they can tie up loose ends, if indeed the Diario report of finding her body is correct. The MSM's silence is deafening however, it could be out of respect for the family and the authorities.
A link to Diario site?
I speak many languages, although none of them well.
Hey, Spec, haven't they finished
draining that flippin' pond yet!
They've had enough time to drain
the bloody Gulf of Mexico already.
Do you really think I'm going to click on that???
If RWV is correct that Diario is really reporting that, then that means Jossy says it's so. Jossy knows what's what.
That's sweet, however
I do not think the forum
works along those lines.
I think Freepers post
where ever they want to post
so long as they don't
call people names or
insult them by calling them
ignorant and stuff . . .
