Exclusive: US Representative Tom Tancredo in Response to U.S. Nuke Threat: We Could Nuke Mecca 15 July 2005: He is a no-nonsense House Representative from Colorado, a staunch critic of the federal government's lax immigration and border enforcement policies, and one who recognizes the clear and present threat posed by Islamic terrorists inside the United States. In an exclusive interview today with Pat Campbell, host of AM 540 WFLA said yesterday he would request a briefing from the Justice Department on information it has on plans revealed by WND this week for a nuclear attack on the U.S. by al-Qaeda. Responding to a question by Mr. Campbell about our possible response to such a threat, Representative Tancredo said that there are things that could be done to pre-empt a threat, and in response to an attack as well. One response would be to take out one of their holy cities with a nuclear bomb if it was clearly proven Islamic terrorists were behind such an attack. Perhaps you are not aware of coalitions being built on particular issues. Buchanan agrees with Tancredo on immigration (as do most Americans according to most polls), not the war in Iraq.
Tancredo's PAC deals primarily with border/imm issues.
It is a good thing that your daughter is in a school devoid of potentially lethal jihadists. Sounds like a fine strategy for choosing a college in these perilous times.
They blew off tons of nukes a hundred miles or so away from Las Vegas. The 'off limits' area is only a few miles after a few months. Learn up on this stuff.
Look at the CAIR thread. Tancredo is a weak-kneed liberal compared to that thread's posters.
I have to agree with you. My husband was saying last night, that if Bush could run again, he would NOT vote for him. The borders need to be closed NOW!!

Many of us would not, knowing and understanding the agenda of the Bush family, and I say family because what we are seeing now, is really out of the administration of Bush One as well -- it is undeniably a "dynasty" and hopefully this will be the end of it, in favor of a true, patriotic American conservative which this country needs desperately along with a Congressional majority.
Every large-scale terrorist attack (WMD or conventional) should be responded to in this way.
Lot's of innocents would die, but lot's of innocents live's would be saved, too.
And after several of thier wretched cities were leveled this way, I think we would see a LARGE decline in terrorist activities.
London gets rocked, Mecca gets leveled. Chicago gets rocked, Damascus gets leveled......
How do you come by that? You seem to be the one putting all the value on Mecca, like it's an Achilles' Heel of a target.
If you can point out what armies, what weapons' storage facilities, what political bodies, what terrorists are hanging out their clothes to dry in Mecca year-round, please let us know, because if that's the case, we could take it conventionally with little opposition right now.

Agree emphatically Gordon. I get the impression from some of these posts . . . OK, here's the scenario: Chicago is still smoking/glowing, and hundreds/thousands of `survivors' are dropping like flies from radiation sickness, while prevailing winds are spreading fall-out through the Ohio river valley/great lakes area.
All the ones here calling other FR's bad names are saying: hey, let's not be rash (?) I can see that re a preemptive strike, but what is this: the `let's give peace a chance' thread? The hard fact of this matter is that the enemy that hit us on 9/11 and just last week--they want us dead. God help us if it actually happens.
