This is news/activism. Terri Schindler Schiavo is still in the headlines. The death lobby shouldn't kid themselves. We are not going to forget...
LIVE THREAD of Terri Schiavo Autopsy Press Conference. It begins at 11:00 pm est from Clearwater, Florida at the Medical Examiner's Office right down the road from where Terri was starved & dehydrated to death.
The ME will have to address that hmmmmmmmm?
John Throgmartin, ME, here he goes. Dr. Steven Nelson joins him. HERE WE GO.
yes, EVERYONE IS LYING!
BOILERPLATE ALERT!
Get back to me when you CHANGE the laws.
"Do not be fooled; that is what this is about. They don't want me and my husband to decide for ourselves."
IAW, that's where we're coming from....you're being fooled if you don't look at this more encompassingly...
What it will lead to is this: You and your husband will also lose your rights to each other...to the courts. Is that what you really want? This isn't about parents' rights vs. spousal rights. It's about the government deciding who has a right to live. It's obviously another hurdle that's been cleared.
Considered an irrelevant KOOK site.
Wasn't suspended.
Maroon.
There you go, calling yellowdoghunter a fool. Shame again! Don't you listen to the Admin Mod? Maybe yellowdoghunter just meant the ones who are pro Terri's death. That is more specific.
This disorder may be inherited as a primary disorder or may be one symptom of a disease that affects many parts of the body. Researchers have now discovered the abnormal gene responsible for the inherited form. More often, however, classic distal RTA is a complication of diseases that affect many organ systems (systemic diseases), like the autoimmune disorders Sjögren's syndrome and lupus.
Other diseases and conditions associated with distal RTA include hyperparathyroidism, a hereditary form of deafness, analgesic nephropathy, rejection of a transplanted kidney, renal medullary cystic disease, obstructive uropathy, and chronic urinary tract infections.
A major consequence of classic distal RTA is low blood-potassium. The level drops if the kidneys excrete potassium into urine instead of returning it to the blood supply. Since potassium helps regulate nerve and muscle health and heart rate, low levels can cause extreme weakness, cardiac arrhythmias, paralysis, and even death.
Untreated distal RTA causes growth retardation in children and progressive renal and bone disease in adults.
NO... in the report I saw ... the ME did not. He very carefully constructed his sentences....walking around the dehydration factor.
I certainly hope you're not insinuating I don't.
The side of Terri's bed lift scraped her arm, it was not needle marks. This is covered at www.worldnetdaily.com.
Indeed.
So you think "conservatives" shouldn't have living wills? Say it...go ahead...make my day.
It's hard to miss, kiddo.
This is the first I've heard of this.
On what do you base this accusation?
At least two of Terri's nurses testified (in affidavits) that after visits from Michael, tehy found empty vials of insulin in the trash can in her room and found her in notably worse condition than before the visit. They had to stabilize her.
:)
Not according to the statement today, and I'm sure I heard him correctly.
I was taken aback by it.
That's silly. These decisions get made every day by families where there is no dispute among them. The courts don't involve themselves in it without invitation. The courts were involved here only because there was a dispute. Courts always should and will settle disputes between people.
Of course he is lying, there is no reason for the coroner to be accurate as possible because no one is going to review his findings. Only a moron would expect them to do a truthful report.
Good job pointing out the lie.
Her wheelchair was BROKEN. She was in bed or in a chair but was kept illegally in her room. She wasn't allowed to go outside. The right thing would have been to FIX HER DANG WHEELCHAIR and let her go outside. She wasn't PVS either. Don't say "lying in bed" when Judge Greer was in charge of her imprisonment.
