For all of those who have called me every imaginable name because I dare to suggest that there are some things worse than death...I don't wish you on you anything that poor woman goes through on a minute by minute basis. Because you know so much, and are so sure that you are right because you are all so freakin self-righteous...I'm leaving FreeRepublic because I no longer want to be a part of something that has become so twisted. Hannity is right, this website has been hijacked. It was a good run...but we'll find another place. Save your jabs, I won't be reading them. To those who have privately agreed with me, and there are many, thank you. I'm just worn out and frankly, don't even care what most here think.

Just because some of us don't have any respect for y'all when you continually rudely attack people who so much as question things (whether it's what Terri would want or your misinformation and conspiracy theories), does not mean we want to kill Terri

I do not agree with you, but hope you do not leave. It's a sensitive subject. Anyone who has studied on the subject is very passionate about their opinion. As someone else mentioned, take a few weeks to cool down if you need to, but please do not leave for good.
You, I and Hildy have been here for many years. Is it necessary to make you point by calling her "Nurse Hildy" and "Nurse Rachett"? Have you forgotten how to make an argument without including a personal attack?

You know who "They" are, you spend an inordinate amount of time with them in the Schiavo threads.
Hildy did us all a favor.
Even Terri's parents probably wouldn't like the behavior Hildy is talking about. It just alienates people who could be brought to Terri's "side".
I've seen Hildy say many times that she didn't think Terri's tube should be pulled.
It still wasn't enough to keep her (and others, including me) from being lambasted and called a bigot, Nazi, and death lover, etc...
...all for not swallowing every word of what has built itself, through exaggeration and misinformation, into something resembling a Cult.
I like Hildy but I don't think she understands how Christians feel about this.

If I had bought AT&T when it first went public, I'd be rich now. I don't have a dividend check, because I didn't buy it. Cold Heat claims that Terri would have signed away her life, and that's as good as if she actually had signed away her life. If that's true, then the fact that I would have bought stock is as good as if I actually had bought stock. I want my dividend check.

Exactly. As I've said earlier in another thread. Terri's hardcore supporters could win more converts to their side by being persuasive and engage in healthy and vigorous debate, instead of calling those who have opposing views "idiots", "murderers", "Nazis", "killers", etc.
And the MSM and Democrats wonder why George W. Bush won re-election on November 2nd. Particularly since most sane voters were offended and insulted by the two and their actions.
