up on drudge:
WASH TIMES: U.S. security officials are investigating a recent intelligence report that a group of 25 Chechen terrorists illegally entered the United States from Mexico... Members of the group, said to be wearing backpacks, secretly traveled to northern Mexico and crossed into a mountainous part of Arizona, Gertz to report in Pgae One Splash, newsroom sources tell DRUDGE...

You know, I've had a belly full of your lies and deception. There was *no* implication, only a question, the same one asked several times, only because you didn't answer. Anyone that cares to read back can see this.
Now get lost, before you get your bell rung. I am not in the mood for bottom shelf BS.
Did you answer these questions that were asked of you? I'm sorry if I missed your answer. Could you please answer again, since you have decided that I am reading challenged??????
Do you employ people that are in our country illegally?
# 712 Do you employ people that are in our country illegally? Feel free to answer this. I feel it's a legitimate question.
# 720 . Do you hire people that are in our country illegally?
#731 Do you hire people that are in our country illegally?
Take care while at school and encourage children not to keep school doors open, and report suspicious persons immediately. Everyone must watch.
You are a bald faced liar. Anyone can read back. You were accused of nothing. You're not fooling anyone.
Sad but true. I'm afraid it will take an attack that can be traced to border crossings to make the dim witted change thier minds.
watch how fast some senator like Chuck Schumer calls for building a 50' containment wall along the Mexican border.
Yeh right. Using illegal immigrants to build the wall?
"Oh, I get it. So if my competitors cheat on their taxes, lie to the government, deal drugs and make big profits, and hire people that in our country illegally, it's OK for me to do it too?
"Do you not see what is happening here? Do you not see where this is all leading?"
Evidently, Joe, some don't see it. I view their attitude as a "Selective Anarchy".....just throw out the laws that don't line your immediate collective pocket, regardless of how many of your fellow citizens it may harm. And NO, it's not OK for you to do it, too. Some of us have to do the right thing, and no it's not profitable. No one said it was easy, if they did they lied.
I'm ill and out of here for the night to watch the debates. I'll be praying that Pres. Bush doesn't get a question on this topic. This is not his strong suit. Of course the liberals will be happy with whatever goofy answer Kerry gives.
I don't get it. You disagree with me, then go on to state that you think I am likely correct.
I would like to know the truth myself, but I don't jump based on something Drudge dregs up.
The US has 46.5 times the population of Israel so if Israel can build a 400 mile fence we can afford to build at least a 18,500 mile fence especially since we have almost twice the per capita GDP as Israel.
Much of it isn't even a wall..its just trenches and barbed wire that would hardly slow a determined person down.
In some places in remote areas you don't need much of a fence. Just enough surveillance gear to detect them so you can dispatch people to the area.
True enough for illegal immigration. Organized terror cells are a different matter. Sealing them out is a thousand times more difficult...and even if we did, whats the point? In most cases, its already easier for them to enter legally.
You have to stop the flood before you can stop the trickle. We need to rid the US State Dept and our political culture of traitors and PC obstructionists who make it easy for terrorists to enter the country.
In any case, its a totally different situation. Most of the attacks on Israel are relatively casual and poorly organized.
The way I understand it, it takes a long time to brainwash someone to be a suicide bomber.
Anyone attacking the US through Mexico or Canada isn't going to be stopped by barbed wire.
The fence should be made of material that can't be cut by standard shop tools. That will stop the bulk of them which will allow us to concentrate on the more serious invaders.
Fallacious logic. The drop in attacks is based off the extreme highs of 2002-2003, and is primarily a result of the forward deployment of the IDF in Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, along with better training, equipment, and a much more proactive policy of engagement.
Let's hope someday we have the same problem of deciding whether the drop in terrorism and illegal immigration was caused by our war on terrorist states, increased border patrol training or our security fence.
Finally, I note that Israel's entire defense force is engaged in patrolling its borders. If the US built such a fence, it would cost us some $75-100 billion dollars, would be mostly barb wire and trenches, and would require the entire US military to be stationed here to patrol it. And we still wouldn't stop any truly organized group
If we pay Israel to do it, it will cost $35 billion (since they built theirs for $1.6 mil / mi) That's assuming protecting 22,000 miles of border. We spent about that much invading Iraq and Afghanistan.
And I don't think it will require all our armed forces to patrol the fence. 1.4 million men on 22,000 miles of border would be one every 82 feet. Even if it did, isn't that where an army belongs? Protecting our borders? http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Peace/fence.html
He is only being deceptive to himself. The rest of us can read.
I'm fine with that.
Don't blame Bush for the insanity of those population transfers (and BTW what about "forgetting" to teach them English and immersing them in American culture?) , it's been going on for 40 years...blame Dims like LBJ and Teddy the Swimmer for "reforming" immigration, and lefties in general for "forgetting" what I mentioned above!
Stay the course and stick with GWB!
Okay, I'll bite. Why?
"Now the northern border is another story but since the Mexican haters don't worry about that one nothing is said."
Well, I don't know any "Mexican haters" or "Mexico haters"...I was in Cabo a few years back and had an absolute blast, in fact. Now as to the problem of illegal scumbags breaking into our nation, I'll grant you that the situation on our Southern border gets a helluva lot more attention than does the situation on our Northern border. But considering how many fewer agents there are up there in comparison to along the Mexican border, we should be extremely worried about that wide open border as well. The possibility of our enemies crossing over into Seattle like the one did back in 1999, through a port of entry, doesn't worry me nearly as much as the possibility of them coming in on horseback, on ATVs, or simply hiking in, carrying their weapons and bombs with them. All along the border with Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Eastern Washington, etc., there are miles and miles of remote wilderness with no one for miles and miles around, much less a strong Border Patrol presence.
"Our enemies will not come over either for the most part those pretending that that is where our danger lies simply have poor judgment."
And your insight into the terrorist mind is...? What knowledge and/or experience do you have that would give you some substantive leg up on the rest of us who "simply have poor judgement"? Please elaborate, because from where I stand, as a former soldier, wide open borders and coastlines would be the best and most likely places through which to invade.
"And terrorists HAD come into this country legally and attacked it prior to 9/11. Some brought down the OKC building and others attacked the WTC. One was caught coming in legally from Canada and the lives of perhaps hundreds saved by an alert customs agent."
I never said they hadn't. What I said was that before 9-11 they hadn't used airplanes to crash into high occupancy buildings in order to carry out their attacks. You saying they'll never use our wide open borders against us is like someone on 9-10 saying that they'd never use airliners to crash into buildings. Just because it hasn't happened yet doesn't mean it won't. Pre 9-11 thinking would have us not worry about our borders because the nightmare scenario hasn't happened (yet). Pre 9-11 thinking combined with the apathy of the American Sheeple almost guarantees something eventually will happen. God, I hope I'm wrong.
