Berger’s home and office were searched earlier this year by FBI agents armed with warrants. Some drafts of a sensitive after-action report on the Clinton administration’s handling of al-Qaida terror threats during the December 1999 millennium celebration are still missing.
Berger and his lawyer said Monday night he knowingly removed handwritten notes he had taken from classified anti-terror documents he reviewed at the National Archives by sticking them in his jacket and pants. He also inadvertently took copies of actual classified documents in a leather portfolio, they said.
“I deeply regret the sloppiness involved, but I had no intention of withholding documents from the commission, and to the contrary, to my knowledge, every document requested by the commission from the Clinton administration was produced,” Berger said in a statement to the AP.

Jihadist seeking advice on how to destroy a "Zionist structure" in a non-Arab country
The SITE Institute has discovered a posting on a jihadist website asking for "plans and advice" on how to "burn down a large Zionist structure" in a non-Arab country.
According to the message, posted to a special forum on military preparations for jihad on July 5, 2004, the target of the potential terrorist attack "resembles the U.S. Pentagon, which means that it does not have stories." The structure was also described as "somewhat high" and "easily accessible." The author of the message claimed to have three co-conspirators "ready to carry out the operations."

There's a FReeper in Iraq working as a contractor who's been in contact with me on story ideas for a possible script. He's saying that the first IED's were explosives stuffed into animal corpses (big dogs, goats etc) and when they ran low on those, other items. I'm hearing that any potential IED is being just "blown in place" Nobody is trying to "defuse" anything.

I agree. I doubt that bio attacks will be the primary "spool-up" to a main force attack. BioWar is very problematic in the inception phase. Once an epidemic gets traction and proves itself both deadly and communicable, you have a full on terror incident underway. But getting to that epidemic stage is tough. It also takes time. These guys would want a LOT of bloody bodies or mass violence for the horror and photo op propaganda. Unless it's Ebola, I don't think bio-attacks will come until much later. Perhaps as a followup to several other WMD events. I still think that nukes hold the best promise and next a chemical attack using nerve agent.
