Now I'm no fan of NEIN for my own reasons.
But if he was here posting info for free; than is it fair to be critical of the 'donations/memembership' fees for information?
Now, Labyrinthos had some very impressive points in his view.
But my point is, if Sean was here sharing for free, than how can we critize for the fees?

Also an electromagnetic pulse (from article upthread) could/would wipe out electrical devices (inc. computers/coffee pots etc.) within 1000 miles - my thought - keep computer unplugged when not in use. That won't protect your computer from an EMP created by a nuke or the new series of "E" weapons. The pulses from these devices are very powerful and very short wavelengths. The only sure protection is a grounded, mu-metal Faraday cage that fully contains the device. The "screen room" style of Faraday cage can be breached using very short pulses whose wavelength is smaller than the screen room mesh openings.

I suppose al-qaeda don't see things in shades of grey. No matter whether you're republican or democrat, if you're american you are fair game. They don't even mind killing fellow muslims.

2165 is not one code, it is a collection of codes.
a set of words caught my eye, that didn't look right for where they were, so that is what I searched.
It may be one word, or a sentence.
I found the Olympic info, Cal was asking about, with a one word search.
I search first the misspelled words, then the words that I don't know and also the ones that are so simple they couldn't mean anything.
I search all simple strings of letters and or numbers and even long strings of keys on the computer keyboard.
My last Bomb Making book was found on an honest woman's type google search, that I was doing to find a site that I can see, but still can't produce the URL for.
So I expect to find something, anywhere at all.
I should have gotten the number for the thread that I read this morning in the main Freeper list, it said that the Gov keeps buying the latest in computer equipment, for searching the Internet for terrorists, but does nothing about hiring the humans to read the findings of the computers.
That is what we are, those of us who work at it, we are looking for what the human eyes will see, and it takes a lot of God's help to "see" what is worth reporting.
If you find something, let me know, and I will put you in contact with my up-line, so that it will go via a short cut.
No, you don't send it to me, as I don't have a way to forward it.

Heh, I won't be round for long. Getting married (yikes!) next Saturday, I took the week prior off to get my ducks in a row and will be heading to the Keys the week after for my honeymoon. I bet we will be at thread 17 by the time I get back.
Cheers!

It may seem silly, but aren't there tunnel systems that aren't mapped?

Electro Magnetic Pulse.
That's one of the favored tools of Ivan and the Chicoms. Extreme high altitude and high yield bursts, to disable solid state electronics.

I'd offer you a roll of duct tape, but I'm not sure it would help. :)

The only thing that could make that big of a wave would be a sizable meteor hitting the ocean - a la recent disaster film. Something that is not predictable.

Was noticing how many of the power outages were affecting hospitals. Not good.As someone pointed out the other day, several of the targets on that map of Manhattan that was posted the other day are near the major NYC hospitals. One of the "targets" was in the vicinity of Bellvue, NYU Medical Center, and Mt. Sinai, and another target was near St. Vincents.
To: Labyrinthos
Yes- then they rush in with the stolen ambulances and uniforms and pretend to "help"....pure evil.
To: JustPiper
Sure, but I'll be on vacation next week and will not have access to a computer. So I wont be able to monitor the systems until week after next.

I know here in NJ, there are tunnels that aren't 'officially' there due to insurance liability issues. So maybe that is why they aren't mapped?
I'm just guessing.

Ok, I did find something months ago that I don't know what to make of it.
that 4505 sb code, from a twexus search lead me to a download of files that said how to build an amateur Microwave Propagation station.
I did send it up; but I have absolutely no idea how it would work, what it would do, if it is real or Tom Clancy level stuff.
