If the Captain made that comment, he has received my nomination for the "Darwin" award for supremely atavistic behavior in the face of overwhelming force.
He has no idea of how much doom he could have brought down on his head, especially after he refused to allow the ship to be boarded and made all the claims he was reported to claim.
Some people are just plain stuid.

Trains crash head-on in Czech

ONE person died and about 30 people were injured when two passenger trains collided head on in the south of the Czech Republic today, a Czech railways spokesman said.
The crash happened in Blanice near the town of Strakonice shortly before 3pm (11pm AEST), said spokesman Jan Kucera, adding that the two train drivers were being treated in hospital.
Around five of those treated in hospital had serious injuries, he added.
The cause of the accident was not yet clear.
Thanks for the post. There was a small fire yesterday evening around 7:00 at Hanson Dam, Lakeview Terrace. What was odd was that there was a helicopter flying over the surrounding areas with its high beams on. They were looking for someone or something. Fortunately, they got the fire out before it got too big.
Fox is sending out the chopper to chase the ship! Pop some corn, and chill the beverages.

The original number ended in 4504 and a poster here last night said that 4504 designated somewhere in New York state.

If something comes up, I will report. There has been nothing from from the chopper except the initial scene of it heading out. No telling how long it will take to intercept the vessel. I'll post anything of interest.
I looked up some Longitude and latitude numbers. The Northing coords for NY end at 45 deg and Revel figured out that the coord inat 4504 would be passing just south of Ottawa.
