My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I... And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight... Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair... bentfeather©

No jewerly snippy, just some odds and ends things like a shoe horn. Do you know in this huge city in Missouri, I thought there were no shoehorns to be had.
Ah but did find one for .99 cents in a store.
I have to have one for a new pair or red suede shoes. I love those shoes however, they are a TAD TIGHT!!
bentfeather has huge feet.

There are many rules set down for various forms of poetry.
I refuse to be constrained by these rules.
Many people like this challenge. However, I have always written Free Verse and am most comfortable with it.
I wrote a Sonnet once that was not a Sonnet, but non-th-less was a danged good poem.
I can write perfect rhyme and have done that without realizing it!! Dumb luck I guess.
To: bentfeather
Well, I like free verse and that is what I am most comfortable about. I don't understand if it is really poetry I'm writing but I like it.

What can I say now, my whispers become screams and my fears realized.
This is a heart wrenching work snippy. Very well done. Very moving!! The graphic, dusk is especially powerful with your words.
To: radu
radu, I love that graphic!!
I shall save it and the one Sam posted today.
Thanks so much. Glad you enjoyed the donuts early this morning.
To: Flurry
Hi Flurry!!
Thanks so much for the nice words!!
So happy to have you back.

Understanding is really not so important. Sam has always said he knows what he likes and I think that is it.
Yes, it's poetry.
To: Darkchylde
All very good music, imo.

And wrote this about my dog. She hasn't seen it yet.
LulaBelle
She likes to hug you when you meet,
And Laura is to blame.
But she calms down in just a sec,
And seems to like her name.
She wags her tail like its on fire,
It breaks the speed of sound.
The step cats are her closest friends,
When no one is around.
If we appear the cats get chased,
It can be quite a fracas.
But she would never hurt KC,
Or Boo who has a black azz.
Yes LulaBelles a funny dog,
And we both know her tricks.
But dont lean down to pet her,
Lest your face is needing licks.
We love our Labradaniel Lu,
And she loves us as well.
If you dont like her you are sick,
And can go straight back home.
