My Dragon Fly and Me

If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!

By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone

On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guides we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and I...

And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...

Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

Just a dark and purple nite,
bats in the air
Hold your hair
to the wind whispering fair
Purple night and long black hair...
Not a pome this I know,
just some rambling to
let you know, I am not
very far away,
Will be out later on today...

Oh my dear, I am here
just a whim of mine
you hear, the fickle winds
blows fast and low
in the hollows to and fro...

If I'm meant to rhyme in time
Darksheare at the gate will find
this poet has her secrets
to find, her Lancelot at
midnight time, when the wolves
howl and whine, big eyed owls
spook the night, other things
go bump and bang, the Vampires
on the roam do wane
Is this the bane of a midnight poet
without a home, skulking bout
at dusk and dawn?
Chasing down the little fawnn
In the day light she does not show it
looking by the brooks and gullies
in the Land of Ocean Sullies
Starland express and rockets blast
I do come out from the past!

Lovely words. I will be glad when I can get caught up at work. I have been away at least 1 day per week for the past month and a half. I am surrounded by idiots so they can't pick up the slack when I'm out.

When I get caught up I will write someting deeper than my little toy poems that are so much fun to write but not taken seriously. Unless you realize they have to be peeled back a bit.

What can I say now, my whispers become screams and my fears realized. To lose you would break me. Why didn't I fight harder against the tide that was my love for you. I wasn't seeking love, it captured me and before I had a chance to fight it I was overcome by it.

I tried to chase it away but time ran out for me, not that I ever would have won, but perhaps I could have subdued it, long enough to get away. Now it is here, crashing down on me and I weep uncontrollably. I've been beaten by it as night falls.

As new light dawns and because you mean more to me than I do to myself, I will promise to not give up. The struggle will go on and I will continue to fight against it, hoping in the end to save a piece of us and we can one day laugh about it all. Friends like no other.

Thanks. I thought I'd try some long hand writing I've seen a couple of folks do here, mostly trike but his is sexy where as my is just 'deep'. LOL. I can't get dark like you and your sis but I can get deep!
