They are sweeties. Only problem is that Aussies have lots of medium long hair, and Huskies have lots of short, thick hair, and really shouldn't be left out in the heat, according to my vet. So both of them stay in the house in the A/C, which is okay because they are very well behaved, but they mega shed twice a year. So every spring and fall, I comb dogs, and clean up white and gray hair constantly for several weeks.

Try putting her on leash, then trap the leash under your foot so she has to lay by your chair. After a while you can loosen it on the foot, then pretty soon you won't need to put it under your foot at all.

This won't help much, and with the Aussie you may not want to do it, but our Lab used to love being vacuumed! Especially the area where they can't scratch, the lower back just above the tail.

whyisa did what hobbes purports she has done, well i think that arhgy would be rather enthralled with the entire proposition....
I dunno. That means I'd come into physical contact with the wretch. Ug. I think I'll get rid of the repulsive feeling you just gave me by heading over to the House of Ptomaine to grab a spot of garbage to mangle.
