In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of "Word for the Day".
kibitzer \kuh-BIT-ser, or KI-but-ser\ noun
one who looks on and often offers unwanted advice or comment, especially at a card game;
broadly: one who offers opinions
kibitz \kuh-BITS, or KI-buts\ verb
to act as a kibitzer; to offer unsolicited and unwanted advice or comment, expecially at a card game
Example sentence: Fletcher had a reputation at the lunchtime card table as a kibitzer, always letting the players know how they should have played the previous hand.
Etymology: Yiddish kibetsn
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.

It felt like someone stabbed you in the stomach. The pain was not localized as one would think. I had it done 22 years ago and I haven't owned a bike for 18 years or so. I love motorcycles but I have too many toys now and want to build another airplane next.

Oh good grief.
Cinder is already big enough that on her hind legs she can reach the dining room table.
She's starting to get the idea she is not supposed to do that - because we keep putting her on a lead at dinner time and she can't even get into the dining room - it seems to be working!!!
