the original xspup was the devil incarnate. a JRT pup, that i had from 3mo of age til 18 mo. of age, when he bit the little girl across the street, and i had to get rid of him. i had him to puppy K and then to intensive puppy boot camp. 2 weeks of one on one with the trainer. wasn't enough, or wasn't the right thing to get him to work out with our family.

xs2pup, the cavalier is sweetness and light, not unlike myself. and will be no problem, once i get his kinks worked out! i will look for the book, but i am so bad with instruction manuals. i like to just take the thing out and start monkeying with it, til i figure it out.

Poor doggies. They think they're part of the family, and don't know why they can't have people food too.

That seems to be the consensus of most of the men I know. Hubby was on active duty at the time he had his, and he went to the base to work same as always the next morning. No complaints.

Actually, I've never been able to detect it in you, I was teasing. I've seen more sign of it in xshub than you!

Actually it isn't much of a manual, instead it helps us humans understand why dogs do what they do and what they are thinking or trying to accomplish. It also talks about other aspects of dog ownership like traveling, the dog aging, etc. It is really good, you will enjoy it and it will help enhance your doggy experiences!

If I put meat I'm going to grill on a platter on the drainboard while the fire gets ready, I have to put it all the way to the back, or mine will have a go at it when no one is looking. Same is true for any food item unattended on the kitchen table. They don't understand it is not their food until the humans put it into their bowls after dinner.

I had it done on Fri was back at work on Mon. At the time I was a South Central Bell Telephone repairman, climbing telephone poles and such. I couldn't ride my motorcycle for a month, the vibration was killer.

xspup was tall enough to get at stuff on the table unless it was the very middle. as smart as he was, he NEVER thought to get up on there. i was thrilled that xs2pup was too small to reach the table, til he learned he could get right up on it, on all 4s.
