We will not allow the triumph of hatred and violence in the affairs of men. [President Bush]
Good morning!!
Intelligence services have in their possession, as a result of capturing his military chief, hand-written letters from The Evil One (not UOx42, the other one) that might provide hints as to his whereabouts.
Twenty-four American heavy bombers (B-1 and B-52s) have been ordered to Guam amid rising tensions on the Korean peninsula.
A new poll shows 75% of Britons support the notion of going to war with Iraq - provided the UN gives its "blessing."
The war plan against Iraq, according to the NY Crimes, will involve a massive opening arial bombardment beyond anything seen or contemplated in the Gulf War.
Gen. Myers, in a briefing, noted that while the Pentagon is making every effort to protect non-combatants, war in inherently violent and civilian casualties will occur.
In America, the GOP will file for a vote on Estrada in the Senate.
And remember--
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Jay Leno joked about the preposterousness of liberals thinking they need their own liberal talk radio network when they dominate just about every other media vehicle.Brit Hume ended his FNC show on Tuesday night with this clip from a recent monologue from Leno on NBC's Tonight Show:
"According to the New York Times, a group of liberal venture capitalists are in the process of developing their own liberal radio network to counter conservative shows like Rush Limbaugh. They feel the liberal viewpoint is not being heard -- except on TV, in the movies, in music, by comedians, magazines and newspapers. Other than that, it's not getting out!"The fact that Leno knew such sarcasm would draw laughter from a general audience shows it is not just conservatives who realize liberals dominate virtually every medium.
The considerable muslim diaspora of Europe has recently come up with a very strange idea: Mecca-Cola. A French-Arab entrepeneur (a dangerous combination these days) has been trying to cash in on anti-American sentiment among the region's muslims by launching this drink as a rival to the classic Coca-Cola. He advertises using the slogan: "Drink commited, drink Mecca-Cola". According to the official website ten percent of the receipts will be used for a European project while another ten percent will go to developing Palestinian society. Of course there is nothing intrinsically wrong with this clever example of niche-marketing, but it does raise some very serious questions.Does the muslim community need one more form of overtly anti-American propaganda in these times of hardship for an already embattled minority? Competition won't hurt Coca-Cola and responsible buying is a very good thing, but the world view is already so biased against the Arab and muslim society that this initiative will create even more resentment, certainly in the United States. Something muslims can ill afford.
Also, money that is destined for the Palestinian community often ends up in the wrong hands and the frightening consequenses of this are very salient this day and age. Although I am pretty sure that Al-Qaeda is not behind this endeavor it would be wise to think again and to take notice of the scary, almost totemistic place the Palestinian cause has taken up in the minds of the world's muslims. Like there aren't any other causes to be championed in this part of the world.
What's this? Something new?
HOB needs them too, it sounds like.
Oh my goodness..I couldn't apologize enough!! :-(
I need to put up with two or three caterpillars if I want to get to know the butterflies.
~~from The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry....trouble is....these days it seems like more than 3 caterpillars...
