BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

it was inside her jacket in big white letters..To me, it looked like it said "ROC ON." The "k" in rock may have been behind her.
One other thing - when they showed that shot of her from behind when she opened her jacket "flashing" the crowd, the crowd didn't go nuts with approval. They just sat there. So whatever she had inside her jacket couldn't have been too inflammatory.

didn't he earlier say that just being in new york was a political statement

Such a deep political statement he has made. So very articulate. I am now reconsidering my stance on international relations.

Oooh, obligatory multi-culti props to B.B. King, how lame - their music owes nothing to B.B. King (now Willie Dixon is another story).
To: Recovering_Democrat
is anyone else perplexed by this idiots? i expect this peace stuff from pianists and cellists, soft rockers, but hard rock groups? Here's another one: Ethan Hawke is against the war, but look at his movies. Training Day!
To: Shaka
He (Durst) is one of Eminem's favorite targets. *L*

He is a one-hit wonder, has done nothing in years, must need some press.
To: afraid
He burst my bubble. "You got another thing coming" was a standard at High School football and track meets. :(

950 replies! What did the phrase "Let the parade of fools begin" refer to again?

I though Durst just meant we should make sure we win it quickly.
Seriously, that was such a totally lame statement - "I want to make a statement about the war to look cool, but I don't really know what to say, so I just think war should go away or something."
A real milquetoast moment of rock and roll rebellion, like biting the head off a chocolate bunny.

I remember the days when 'rap' was not considered music and the rap 'artists' were none too happy about being excluded.
