BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Coldplay is performing! Those brilliant Brits are the only reason I'm watching tonight. They're up for Best Alternative and Best Live Performance by a Group. Root for 'em! I love their music, but I hate their politics...Chris Martin is going to make SOME kind of anti-war/anti-Bush statment tonight....just wait.

Oh, okay, thanks. Strange.

No...I don't know about it. This is enough forum for anyone! Although be forewarned..it's not always this touchy feely. There will be those again that you will think are idiots...whereever you go! Just don't let it scare you off...the good outweighs the bad here if you've got your compass straight!
Continue to enjoy!

After listening to James Taylor, I always put on Public Enemy or Rage Against the Machine, just to get my testicles to drop back down.Thank you for sharing.

where are the photos of the post-award artist press appearances coming from?

*L* I typically don't watch the Grammys cause they don't play my type of music (AC/DC, Metallica, Ozzy, Disturbed....etc etc...)
I can actually claim (and be telling the truth) that my mom's seen the Rolling Stones and AC/DC in concert. Now how cool is that? (course I don't mention her going to see Neil Diamond...)

this is what is so great!!! We, conservatives, know how to separate entertainment from politics. We can like a rift, a vision, understanding the fact that atristry refects a particular persons sense of the world while possibly disagreeing with the lyrical sentiment.Try visa-versa - ain't happening.
Also looks like they are doing alot of music up front so that many who will turn off after any anti-war statement (not me and many other freepers - we would be remiss to not keep an eye on these people) will have still "paid the bills: so to speak.
By the way, I've noticed over recent years that pretty much anyone that is up for an award and performs - wins!! No surpise since about four years ago they starting putting out a "grammy performances album" shortly after each show. What better setup story than they did this great performance (or of course, not) and then won the grammy. Whatever!

"I guess Sheryl Crow never heard of BLOOD DIAMONDS. At least 20% of all diamonds sold are blood diamonds. How many children died for her lovely bracelet?"People like her don't care about children dying. They only care about what's 'hip'.
They sure gave us a lot of fodder today though <G>

Well, I have read some posts that weren't so nice. But still, it's pretty sane here, from what I have read. Most of the time, anyway.

Faith Hill had a special on Good Morning America several days ago. She stated she did not support the war with Iraq, but she does support the troops. She was at Fort Bradd putting on a show for the troops.

As much as I can't stand Eminem's music, I just tuned in to see if he is gonna beat the crap out of that pencil-necked America-hater Moby.
