"They sang the Sounds of Silence, very poorly."That's one of my all time favorite songs, too. I was kinda upset that my boycott of the Grammys meant I wouldn't be able to hear them tonight after all these years...I guess I didn't miss much.

Oh sure! They get to be in sunny California. Well, my thoughts and prayers are with them. As for you, Spook my thoughts and prayers are with your family. Prosperity, good health, and peace. Same for your family, Severa.

This girl with the dark hair playing the piano and singing stinks! Classically trained, my rear. I can picture my piano teacher smacking her hands and saying, "Curve your fingers!"
Paul Shaffer looked like a pimp.

My daughter and I saw Willie Nelson in concert up here last November when she got free tickets from her Journalism teacher to go and make a report on the concert. The man was unbelieveable -- never stopped singing for the entire show except to do a little talking -- no breaks at all.
He didn't even get boo'd for having the huge Texas flag drop behind him, and he was here in Sooner territory!

Furthermore, I tend to have greater respect for women musicians who can play an instrument. To me it shows great talent than just belting a few tunes.
Norah Jones and Michelle Branch can play the piano extremely well.
Avril Levin plays the guitar.

My daughter loves her too. That's a great song.

#387..Ravi & her mom were living together (not married) when she was concieved.
I believe they parted before she was born....
She lives in Texas with her mom, and I think, has only recently reconciled with her biological dad.

I love "No Such Thing". Not sure why, but it definitely got me hooked into his sound.
