BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Don't know, but I have to worry about any guy that wears one.
That's why I'm watching the Sopranos instead right now.

I'm thinking the same thing. At the least, they can say something supportive of our troops.

can't believe the actors are quiet..maybe they are leaving it up to the musicians since it is their night Thank goodness for that. The last thing we need is the peanut gallery of actors butting in while I'm trying to educate myself listening to musicians talk about their well researched and level headed geopolitical analysis. ;-)

the seven up commercials are fun...
To: Partisan Hack
The best thing so far was the Willie Nelson/H&R Block commercial.

I'm not but my husband is. *L* He called me yesterday, woke me up in the middle of my nap for that tornado warning here in VA Beach. Didn't do diddly squat here but rain.

Well, the girl on Joe Millionaire said she wished she could go to Africa or to poor countries, helping the children by being a mercenary [SIC}

Like James Taylor. Hoping he doesn't disappoint me and say something stupid.

I like the Yao commercials. Adding Yogi at the end really gets it for me! LOL!

No one has graduated yet. Soon to replace them all I tell you! Ally will rule the world someday. She dominates her Junior High debate class. Go girl! (Junkyard wars are their favorite).

BTW, speaking of Ia Drang - I went to H.S. with the daughter of one of the guys at the hot DZ. I knew him as Ltc. Lefebvre, but I think he was a Captain at Ia Drang. He was wounded pretty badly. In HS, didn't know why his arm was messed up, and just read We Were Soldiers last year and learned why.
A true hero.

It's windy up here in the Peninsula. I assumed it had rained when I finally went outside in the afternoon. Outside of that, I'm tired of winter. Come on spring!!

Hahaha. She is beautiful, I'll give her that, but her music all sounds the same. I guess I'm not a big fan of hers either because girls I used to work with, right next to me, listened to this easy listening station and her songs are played a dozen times a day on that station. Over and over and over and over and over again for eight hours. The same song. Thank goodness for a.m. radio and Rush Limbaugh.

You Navy wives are always in my thoughts...you have the hardest jobs in the military. My sister and her husband have been transfered out of Virginia Beach. They're in California now.

Woohoo!! It definitely is more educational than the Grammy's.
