I saw Riders in the Sky perform at a small venue in Chapel Hill a little over 20 years ago--they were great!

Any thoughts from anyone on why there were virtually no war protests?

This thing with the singers introducing each other without clumsy MC's is cool. James Taylor is on now.... He's always good. And sings some of the songs that make me cry.

How can people here make fun of these extremely intelligent, highly-educated, caring artists? Because they have sold lots of cds and are wealthier than the average dumb man...I mean person...on the street they KNOW what is best for the United States. They have pondered what is best for the average Americans for hours, as they have ridden in their limos. Doing cocaine also enhances their thinking power so they get a better perspective on what is best for the world. No one has asked Michael Jackson, but I bet his extensive experience in handling young people has also helped him conclude that war is bad and peace is good. Cocaine, excess alcohol, unlimited sex (with those of any sex and age) gives you a better perspective on what the average person REALLY wants and what is best for America. Can't you folks SEE this???? Richard Gere learned a lot one day from a gerbil..

During one song (give me a minute, and I'll remember it), he placed VERY strong emphasis on telling the truth, and teaching your children about it. The audience went nuts. It was right after some especially egregious Clinton truth-mangling. I'm just blanking on it right now.

I have heard about his librulness, but it is heartening to hear that Clinton is too much for him.
