BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."

Way to go B.B!

From MTV.COM:

Kid Rock opened the show, which began at 8 p.m. as frigid fog rolled in from the Ramstein Air Force Base runway, entering the massive Hangar 3 on one of the military vehicles parked at the outskirts of the crowd, just beyond the hangar doors. Led to the stage by an honor-guard entourage while keeping warm pimp-style in a blue and white fur, Rock riled the crowd with "American Bad Ass," a song from last year's The History of Rock that has become somewhat of an anthem for troops fighting the war on terrorism. Backup dancers in outfits too revealing to pass military muster were bumping and grinding along with the new single "Forever" and a medley of Rock rattling off bits of familiar songs on guitar, drums, turntables and bass.

Ja Rule contrasted Rock's no-nonsense, tough-guy attitude with a mood more suitable for prolonged periods of R&R. His celebratory "Livin' It Up" had even those not entirely familiar with the rapper shaking their tails, as did his new single, "Always on Time."

Yep.. Also, rapper Mystikal served in the army in Desert Storm. ST: Now you served in the Army in Desert Storm. What was your assignment, and what effect did that have on you? Mystikal: Whoa! It put hair on my chest, first of all. I was a combat engineer. That's 12 Bravo. Our job was to breach all obstacles in our path. Whoa [raising his fist]! ... You know what I'm saying'? I didn't feel like that, but that was my job. We come into a mine field, I gotta blow it up. We come into a dam or somethin', gotta make a bridge now. It was kind of suicidal, but it was cool. It was cool.

I'm crushed. Growing up in NJ and seeing Bruce at the Stone Pony was like a gift. Now knowing that he's a peacenik is like finding out there's no Santa Claus. What a downer.

There was a spanish commercial in the last break.

I've seen the Houston Chronicle do this with articles and ads sometimes too.

Feeling like a stranger at home?

I was at an upscale hotel in Miami for a friend's wedding and no one in the bar could/would serve us in English (they seemed to not understand a single word of English).

That's all from me on this for now. The discussion of other concerts has diverted the thread from the topic at hand far enough.

"Came out of nowhere" in 1975 maybe to you. I was on my third album of his by then.

If I based my musical tastes on the opinions & morals of the artists there wouldn't be much to like.

Relax man. It's only Rock n' Roll.

Makes sense since the hispanic birth rate is out pacing every other nationality in this country. Jorge Bush is promising SSI to illegal Mexicans. It's over folks...
