BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Kewl you've seen a lot more than I have. I also love bluegrass music and love to go to festivals where it is played. It was the only "good" thing about "Brother where art thou" and now I'm so pissed at Clooney I won't buy anything having to do with it.

'dead prez" chick is Eryka Badu... Sounds like some kind of political "speech" to me
To: Gunder
oh! you know what that means, huh. B.B.'s in the "plantation house" with the "masters"! only kidding. Harry Belafonte is such an idiot.

My very first concert was the Kingston Trio. I had forgotten that. Oh my gawd, I am really out of it tonight. My first concert was THE BEATLES!

I remember that tour. My friend managed the band that opened up for them -- "Trouble" Watched dimebag Darryl deficate on stage...lovely.
Pantera's "Cememtary gates" has one of the hottest guitar riffs of all time.

Well, brace yourself. Sheryl Crow still has to take the stage. At least, I don't think I missed her. I'm sure she'll have a thing or two to "crow" (LOL!) about.

Since no one knows me here, I can admit, always wanted to go to Graceland. Elvis had a wonderful wonderful voice. He was the King.

Hate to sound racist but I think that skinny women wearing that "DEAD PREZ" tee shirt should pack her bags and catch to next boat back to Africa.

I am still in shock that 1980 was 23 years ago............. I'm still in shock that 1950 is 53 years ago. :)

Do yourself a favor and find some Ravi Shankar to listen to.
Some of my favorite is Ravi with a violin player named Yehudi Menuhin{sp?}.

Nils was there, and Little Steven, and Clarence and the rest of the E-Street band. Going to see them Friday night, hope Bruce doesn't say anything stupid later tonight/

"I figured I'd be twitching on the floor by now, completely stroked out from screaming at my TV."
that was damn funny...we are not getting much material for lambasting tonight
To: weegee
(meekly)Never mind.

I always like it when they have to announce the booby prizes in the the categories that nobody knows or cares about.
Reminds me of that old Saturday Night Live routine where Bill Murray would just throw away whole categories, "Supporting Actor, who cares?"
Have they done the death roll yet? The maudlin part where they flash photos of all the people who died and the audience claps in tune to their popularity of the moment? I always find that so distasteful. How would you like to be the family of the recording industry schmuck whose last name appears alphabetically behind that Left Eye Lopez no-talent?
To: Gunder
I saw BB a few years ago,and I have to say it was one of the best concerts I have seen(I've seen a lot). He puts his heart and soul into every song.
