Hi CG!! How's everything on the homefront?? Obviously no Yummy. I'm glad Taco is doing well after his surgery. He will probably beat this thing because you were so astute and got him in right away. Your vet is no slouch either! I still miss my Amigo terribly. I have to take buttons in for his neutering very soon now. I dread having to go into the Clinic again. btw - your story about how your hubby proposed and mooning was priceless! Take care and pet the furry friends for me. At least here Buttons is starting to follow Mark around wherever he goes. He has starting sleeping on a chair next to him. I'm secretly looking for a little pure black kitten tho. One that has a little Siamese in him like Amigo did. Amigo was actually a Havana Brown according to my vet. Or at least had a lot of it in him. In the sunshine his fur looked like a burnt orange. It was beautiful. His fur also was like velvet. Very different from all my other cats. Buttons is I'm sure mostly maine coon.!!

The French in this Country are nothing but a pain in the butt, ALL the time and in EVERY situation. They are a greedy, rebellious and yet do nothing type of people.

Again, we feel your pain... but not in the butt!

No, YumYum has not come back and I really miss him. He has such personality. Taco is just full of P and vinegar..I have to keep him in the laundry room at nite or he will get up on the bed, put his nose in my ear and purr kitty lullabys. When I let him out in the morning, he just runs from one end of the house to the other because he has heard the outdoor kitties, EbonieAnne and Mr. Peepers,and he just has to check them out. He has recovered really well and we think he must be a miracle kitty. The labs were excellent and follow ups have shown that the little bumpy things are smaller..it seems to be surgical debris as they call it..the stuff that is to be absorbed.

Missie is fine too...she is getting a bit too plump and her thyroid meds may need to be adjusted. I will find out next week as both go for dental cleaning ( it is dental month and we get a 10% discount). Taco is a long haired orange kitty and I think he is a cold weather kind with the extra fur whisps in his ears and in his paws. I think he has angora in him as his fur is so light and fluffy and whispy.

Missie is a tonkenese and that is half siamese and half burmese. It is a wonderful cat..very smart and playful. I would suggest looking at one of those too. Havana browns are gorgeous. But the tonk has the burmese personality and the siamese look in terms of marking but not the skinny body of the over bred siamese.

I still look for Yummie...still have his bed in my room and his dish there too. Maybe one day he will get out of whereever he is and get home.......

Yes, I saw it, I'm pretty sure I don't want one. Pretty impressive, though. I saw S&W's airweight .357 a couple of weeks ago, it looked interesting. I forget the model number, they were calling it a "mountain gun", and it had an interesting light-gathering front sight. After I looked it over, I decided it was waaaay too light, and the recoil from a .357 load would be um, snappy. I saw a review in Guns magazine afterward that confirmed my suspicion. Anyway, no new guns for me for awhile.

I seem to recall she started out as pre-med, wanted to help those poor orphans in the third world. Well, it seems she spent too much time travelling around with Hildabeast, and couldn't keep up with her studies, so she switched to something like sociology. Lately, she's been too busy trotting around europe sucking down excessive amounts of alcohol to study. I can't imagine that's she's any kind of scholar.

Yes, the 386 is strictly an emergency gun for concealed carry and for fishing or hiking in bear country.

Now they have a 329 Airlight .44 magnum that is about as light. Ouchie Ouchie, Ouchie.
