When my husband proposed to me ( he got a little flustered) he said " If you say yes, you will always have wonderfuls sunrises and sunsets and plenty of moonshots". What he meant to say was we would enjoy watching those wonderful full moons..but he got the tongue tied around the eyeteeth! Nevertheless, we are going on 26 years this June.

There was a terrible bus accident on the freeway just south of Waco this morning during the thunderstorm. Several fatalities and dozens of injuries. So I donated blood today for the first time. Usually I'm too anemic, but I remembered to take my vitamins this month and just qualified. Blood pressure 100/78, pulse 58. Lucky to be so healthy.

Oh that is sad news about the bus accident

I have the same problems .. Mand my blood pressure is so low the nurse always has to take it twice to make sure she read it correctly

I still remember the first time I gave blood .. I went to work afterwards .. I was a waitress at the time

I thought I was going to die, never thought I would make it through the dinner shift and I learned my lesson after that

I just heard that 7 people died in that wreck. It was a church bus from Temple on the way to a Bill Gaither concert in Dallas. It crossed the median on I-35 and overturned, crushing an SUV going the opposite direction. Two of the fatalities were in the car, the other 5 were church members.
