There was a terrible bus accident on the freeway just south of Waco this morning during the thunderstorm. Several fatalities and dozens of injuries. So I donated blood today for the first time. Usually I'm too anemic, but I remembered to take my vitamins this month and just qualified. Blood pressure 100/78, pulse 58. Lucky to be so healthy.

I need to get back in the habit of giving every six weeks or so - I think I felt better when I was being bled.

Oh that is sad news about the bus accident

I have the same problems .. Mand my blood pressure is so low the nurse always has to take it twice to make sure she read it correctly

I still remember the first time I gave blood .. I went to work afterwards .. I was a waitress at the time

I thought I was going to die, never thought I would make it through the dinner shift and I learned my lesson after that
