For those who may be wondering what article ......
I called my aunt last night only to find out that my brothers had taken my mother to the ER earlier in the afternoon because she had sharp pains in her side. My poor mother was scared to death, but it turned out to be some kind of bladder or kidney infection, and they put her on antibiotics. My aunt said that she was going to be fine. I hate hearing that kind of news from OTHER relatives, but I guess they didn't want to call and upset me. I'm sure she will call me later. I don't want to call her and wake her up if she's sleeping, as she doesn't get much sleep at all as it is..
My girlfriend flew from Tampa to Reagan/Washington and then caught another flight to Logan International. The plane had begun (sp?) its descent and the landing gear was down, when all of the sudden she heard the landing gear go back UP, and the plane followed suit. Apparantly, the lights on the runway? or the tower were not working correctly. They circled Logan for a 1/2 hour and then the captain said they had to go back to D.C. Now, by the time they got back to D.C., the weather was a factor in Boston and because of that, US Air would not give her any compensation whatsoever. So here she is, with a very sick 9-year old (she wasn't sick earlier in the week) who had a temperature of 102.6 and they have to spend all NIGHT in the DC airport. There wasn't even anyplace for them to lay down, they couldn't get upstairs to get anything to eat or medicine for her little girl. However, on the bright side (HAHAHAHA) they offered to put them on a FREIGHT TRAIN and it would only take 9 hours. Yes, a FREIGHT TRAIN. Not a passenger train, but a FREIGHT TRAIN. Now see if that would have been me..I would have been all OVER the news channels. I would have called them up myself or I would have raised so much heck that they would have put me up somewhere just to shut me UP. More than likely, I would have been carted off to jail. But when is enough enough? When do you stand up and scream: "I AM NOT TAKING THIS CRAP ANYMORE! I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!"
Then to top it all off this morning, I read that the stupid DemocRATS are going to start using the "President isn't doing enough to prevent terrorism" agenda, and start spewing that all over the airways. I yelled out loud to myself (I'm hoping the neighbors didn't hear but I don't care):
"OH, REALLY? WELL, WHO THE HECK WAS THE MAJORITY PARTY AFTER JUMPING JIM JEFFORDS PUT TOMMY BOY IN CHARGE? YOU WERE YOU DIPWADS!!!! BESIDES CASTING BLAME ON WHO KNEW WHAT AND WHEN THEY KNEW IT, PLEASE GIVE ME A LIST OF ALL THE THINGS THAT YOU RATS HAVE DONE SINCE YOU ILLEGALLY TOOK OVER THE SENATE TO PREVENT TERRORISM, PLEASE. OH YEAH, AND WHILE YOU ARE AT IT, WOULD YOU PLEASE TELL US WHY X-42 DIDN'T TAKE OBL OUT WHEN HE HAD THE CHANCE TO DO IT...ESPECIALLY WHEN HE HAD KNOWLEDGE THAT SOMETHING LIKE 911 WAS VERY POSSIBLE BUT I GUESS THAT SINCE HE WAS SO BUSY SELLING OUR SECRETS TO THE CHINESE, PLAYING WITH THE INTERNS AND DUCKING FLYING ASHTRAYS FROM HIS "WIFE", THAT HE JUST DIDN'T "HAVE TIME" FOR IT? OR GEE WHIZ....HERE'S ONE THAT JUST SLAPPED ME UPSIDE THE FOREHEAD...MAYBE HE WAS TOO CHICKEN TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THAT, HUH?"
Ok, I've totally exhausted myself with that rant, but it sure felt good. :-)
What a sick, cruel, horrible man he is...I actually think my jaw dropped a few times in absolute disgust and shock at some of the things these people say he did.
It made me so sad inside to think that someone could be so very cruel and torturous as this ...thing. Not only did Greta hit a home run with these interviews, she knocked the ball right out of the park.
This man is an absolute monster. I don't even live over there, but I am afraid of him now.
And if I hear ONE MORE WHINE OR EVEN A PEEP from Hollyweird, I'll pay for their plane ticket. One way. This time there won't be any "tours" like Sean Penn got. I'll just have the pilot drop them in the middle of Baghdad, and see if Babs can convince SoDamn Insane to use "peace, not war" as a tool.
Okay, now I have to go to confession for thinking all this up...sorry.
I have a theory, follow along if you will. The following events have happened:
1. Senator Graham announces he is not happy with the President's leadership in the war and the economy and is thinking about running for president.
2. The Rats are making noises that we aren't doing enough on Homeland defense.
Here is what I think. Senator Graham sits on the Intelligence Committee. He KNOWS there will be another terrorist attack, no matter how much dough we pour into Homeland Defense. He has told this to his Rat friends, and they are USING a coming attack to go after the President.
That is what I think, and I am sticking to it.
Leaving to run errands with hubby. Back this afternoon.

In typical RAT fashion, the are playing games with our lives...if an attack comes, they'll shout "See, we told you so..." even though they have done everything in their power to weaken every protective measure this President has tried to take -
And if no attack occurs, they will do everything in their power, with the help of their media lap dogs to claim credit for protecting us from harm...even though their every action has been geared towards weakening this Nation's defenses so as to promote their liberal socialist agenda.
Trill set up her new loom last night and started working on a practice piece. It was facinating to watch.(and pretty work intensive) There are already several specialized tools that she wants me to make for her to help things along.

I will just check the news here and there. Went out and bought 4 Spode wine glasses at half price and storage stubs for Christmas decor. Not very exciting, but we had such a nice Christmas and really don't need anything.

I am making a pork roast, scalloped potatoes, and a couple of vegetable dishes for supper. Also this week I am making lasagna.
I figure we might as well pork out this week and get it all under our belts. Then we can resume dieting in January! LOL!
