We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
December 19, 1998 - A GREAT DAY TO HAVE BEEN A REPUBLICAN!!
On that day, the GOP House ensured that Wilhelm von der Schlickmeister Blythe Klintoon would have his proper place in history by making him the first elected President ever to have been impeached and, collaterally, causing Vice Perpetrator Algore to remark that Klintoon would be remembered as "one of our greatest Presidents."
The Pravda is reporting the Administration has set an informal target of the last week in January to decide on whether to invade Iraq. The White House believes by then it will have gathered enough evidence on Iraqi malfeasence in the WMD arena to convince the UN Security Council Iraq must be dealt with once and for all.
In that regard, US intelligence has stated the Iraqi regime has created a larger and more powerful biological warfare capability, has weaponized their agents to such a degree they are highly aerosoled, and have put their labs in vans, so they will not be found by UN weapons inspectors.
And UOx42 has weighed in on Senator Lott:
"How do they think they got a majority in the South anyway?" Clinton told CNN outside a business luncheon he was attending. "I think what they are really upset about is that he made public their strategy."
He added: "They try to suppress black voting, they ran on the Confederate flag in Georgia and South Carolina, and from top to bottom the Republicans supported it." [Sourced to CNN]
Maybe the GOP should remind the former cretin of the White House there are many witnesses to him using the "N" word frequently while he was governor of Arkansas: Why Clinton Is MIA on the Lott Race Flap.
Meanwhile, Delighted Democrats Sharpen Anti-white Agenda
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Well, good luck in making the right decision for you...
I see the creep is in the news again. Since he's our first black president, he knows all about race issues, right? NOT!!!!
And how much longer do we have to hear about Trent Lott?
Awww, blush, blush. Thank-you gc! How are you feeling today?
Oh, that faithful 'ole crockpot! Just like a friend when you need one!
At the beginning of each Congress, or within one week thereafter, a Republican Party Conference shall be held. At that Conference there should be elected the following officers: Floor Leader Assistant Floor Leader Chairman of the Conference Vice Chairman of the Conference Chairman of the Policy Committee Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee
Since there appears to be no mention of WHEN Leadership votes CANNOT be taken, the November Leadership election wasn't in violation of Conference Rules.
What none of us know, is what type of agreement was made or vote taken as to whether or not the November Leadership election was binding into the next Conference. All they needed to do was, 'vote to suspend the rules'.
IF during the nomination of Senator Lott, the person nominating him said, "Mr. Chair, I move to suspend the rules and nominate Trent Lott as Majority Leader of the next Congress" then another election is probably not necessary.
However, given the recent brush up: Even if Lott has the votes to stay in his post, he may choose to hold a vote of confidence vote in January, just to prove his point.
(Going back to read further and see what exceptions to my above theory I can find,,,,, and it's no wonder I never get anything done when I'm at home, I get into this stuff and can't let it go)
Last week, a local liberal talk-radio show jock, was discussing the"up-coming" election for Republican Senate ML... And that IF Senator Bond voted for Lott as ML, what would that do to his chances in 2004?See how it works? Read a major market newspaper and you will find no direct references to this as "the election" for ML; you will also find no direct references to the fact that "the election" for ML has already taken place. Context, context, context. Insidious. Now, from what I've read on FR, this vote is held behind closed doors. Does it become common knowledge how each Senator votes for the leadership position? Should it?
Well, Mr. Vote Counter from Mississippi is in for the biggest count of his life. The question remains, if he falls, where does he land? All the hypocrisy and vitriol in the world ain't nothin' next to the next two years of Court appointments. That is, after all, the ultmiate motivation behind the attacks on Lott, power.
Iowa Granny, I'll look forward to hearing what you dig up from reading the Conference Rules. There's more to it, obviously, especially since those Rules are dated June/2002. I'll perhaps place a call to the Senate and see what can be dug up.
Utah Girl, thanks for your good work here.
Add a 6 month old puppy to the mix and the house becomes "chaos" ! LOL!!
