We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
December 19, 1998 - A GREAT DAY TO HAVE BEEN A REPUBLICAN!!
On that day, the GOP House ensured that Wilhelm von der Schlickmeister Blythe Klintoon would have his proper place in history by making him the first elected President ever to have been impeached and, collaterally, causing Vice Perpetrator Algore to remark that Klintoon would be remembered as "one of our greatest Presidents."
The Pravda is reporting the Administration has set an informal target of the last week in January to decide on whether to invade Iraq. The White House believes by then it will have gathered enough evidence on Iraqi malfeasence in the WMD arena to convince the UN Security Council Iraq must be dealt with once and for all.
In that regard, US intelligence has stated the Iraqi regime has created a larger and more powerful biological warfare capability, has weaponized their agents to such a degree they are highly aerosoled, and have put their labs in vans, so they will not be found by UN weapons inspectors.
And UOx42 has weighed in on Senator Lott:
"How do they think they got a majority in the South anyway?" Clinton told CNN outside a business luncheon he was attending. "I think what they are really upset about is that he made public their strategy."
He added: "They try to suppress black voting, they ran on the Confederate flag in Georgia and South Carolina, and from top to bottom the Republicans supported it." [Sourced to CNN]
Maybe the GOP should remind the former cretin of the White House there are many witnesses to him using the "N" word frequently while he was governor of Arkansas: Why Clinton Is MIA on the Lott Race Flap.
Meanwhile, Delighted Democrats Sharpen Anti-white Agenda
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
1. Typed reply to Pippin and hit "post reply." Post didn't show up.
2. Thhinking that maybe I was hitting the wrong button, I hit reload button on the thread, and no post showed up.
3. Thinking that perhaps I had not hit the "post reply" button, I went to "My comments" to see if there was a post #41 listed from me to Pippin. No post showed in the list, even whenI hit the reload.
4. So then I went back to the thread to post my reply to Pippin, and there it was!
Boy, talk about a Twilight Zone moment!
Take care of yourself, Sister!
How have you been lately?
"We are not worried because there is nothing THEY CAN PIN ON US......"
Odd choice of words...
This is rich......Saddam is trying to spin the report before the US has a response...

We're still wondering if Lott's calling for an election required unanimous consent, or whatever. For example, the Conference "agenda" is adopted by a 3/4 vote (which must have made Jeffords feel lonely). By the Conference Rules:
The Chairman may call a Conference at any time and shall call a Conference whenever requested to do so by the Policy Committee or in writing by 5 or more Senators. The Policy Committee shall meet at least once in 2 weeks, on a fixed day of the week and at a fixed hour to be determined by the Committee. It may meet at any time on the call of its Chairman. The Committee shall permit any Senator to appear before it upon his request to present any matter in which he is interested.Lott's election took place on Nov. 13, and it was unopposed. Herein we see how the powers of the Majority Leader work: Lott called for the early Conference in order to undercut any opposition, i.e. Don Nickles (speaking of unfortunate names...), which thereby didn't have time to get itself together. This also means that Lott was worried about it. It cuts both ways. As a practice in the Senate at large, this type of scheduling game molds legislation.
We're still trying to figure out if in the Jan. 6 Conference that has been asked for already, and which rules state can be called by 5 Senators, it will require unanimous consent to call for a new election of floor leader (or a "confidence vote" of the standing floor leader). If it does, then Lott can oppose it all by himself. The Conference is already schedule to meet Jan. 7, the first day of the new Congress, I believe, to elect certain other officers.
Just to clarify, the "chairman" or "floor leader" of a caucus is either "majority" or "minority" leader in the Senate, depending on that caucus' standing. The floor leader's job is to channel caucus goals into legislation.
Here for Senate.gov description of floor leaders.

A co-worker of mine cut his hand pushing trash down in a trash can at work. He punctured his palm.....he has had 3 surgeries...since.
I have a question for discussion. Last week, a local liberal talk-radio show jock, was discussing the "up-coming" election for Republican Senate ML (with a lot of dis-information I might add.) He framed the discussion as in a local context, in terms of Senator Bond's 2004 race. He said that Bond won his last race with about 43% of the African-American vote, (a fact I'd like to see backed up, but I digress....) And that IF Senator Bond voted for Lott as ML, what would that do to his chances in 2004?
Now, from what I've read on FR, this vote is held behind closed doors. Does it become common knowledge how each Senator votes for the leadership position? Should it?
