I made a picture sale downtown today, and he'll buy another tomorrow.
Then I went to the chamber of commerce and the two people I talked to there loved my portfolio and want my pictures for their publications and billboards and such, but first I have to get set up as a business the right way, so they gave me the name of the best guy at the small business association, and while I was talking to one of the women the other happened to see the SBA guy in the hallway (who has 30 years experience in advertising) and told him about me and my pictures, and he met me and will be my mentor (a nice grandfather guy - I met his wife and grandson, too) and I have to set up an appointment with him in the next 2 weeks. Meanwhile on Thursday morning I'm invited to a chamber networking meeting...
All this happened in one hour this afternoon. Cool!

I am totally pumped up about this. I have to print out some business cards to hand out...
I stopped by Daniel's to tell him and he was really happy AND he had just lined up a portrait sitting for me to do for friends of his (they will pay me).
