AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 663) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 14, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/14/2002 4:09:14 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail! [President Bush]

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave member of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

A report from the Internatioanl Herald Tribune has Secretary General Annan saying that he intended, basically, to dress down the President in talks about the future of Iraq, informing Mr. Bush that he needs to have patience and allow the arms inspectors time to do their work, and not to rush to war.

Helen Thomas, in a speech this last Monday said she is tired of the President's "bullying drumbeat," and that "[i]t's as if they learned none of the lessons from Vietnam[.]"

Meanwhile, the White House has accepted the letter from Iraq as a signal they intend to cooperate with the current UN Security Council resolution.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

In addition, she is most famous for a scandalous dress she wore at an award show.

Her new movie is due this spring, in which she plays opposite Ben Affleck, and in whicih they (sigh) fell in love.

Mr. Affleck has taken her home to meet his mother, a schoolteacher in Connecticut. He has also purchased TWO diamond rings for her from Harry Winston, the jeweler to the stars. One is a canary yellow diamond, and the other is a whopping 2 carat pink diamond, costing upwards of $2 milllion dollars, according to estimates.

J-Lo remakes her image every few years, and my assumption is that she has decided to hook onto Affleck and get into more serious movies and run with his crowd. Whether this is a lasting relationship is anyone's guess.

You need to see that dress...it will tell you EVERYTHING you need to know about J-Lo. But I am not posting the link. Ask Dog. HAR!

Thanks, dittomom. Whatever he does, speculation & conjecture just seem to always swirl around your state's senior Senator....

Here is the McCain plan.

Between now and 2006, McCain will be Dubya's most loyal suporter. If Dubya is still very popular in 2006 make that 2008.

McCain and even McAble know that 2004 would only put you McCain on the floor for the count. McCain could not beat Gore in the Democratic primaries and he knows it. Hillary can't either and she knows it. Gore can't win in 2004 and both of them know it. The next game up for grabs is 2008.

McCain is certain the 2008 nomination is well worth having. If he spends the next 6 years being a loyal bush supporter, he may be able to get the Republican nomination in 2008.

Hillary certainly will try for the Democrat in nomination in 2008, but not before. The Kerry-oka and Edwards will vie with Gore for the 04 nomination. Gore of course will win that one and lose to Bush in your basic rout.

Thre will be free for all in 2008 on the Democratic and Republican sides. There will be contests in both parties. Between now and the start of the 2008 primary season John McCain will be the very picture of total support for Dubya Bush.

Not only was I reading People, I was reading Us.

It's either that or hairdo magazines. It takes a long time to get your hair colored. Besides, I need to know what the democrats are most concerned about, and J-Lo is on the top of their list! LOL!

Begala called RUSH a blowhard? Begala?

Oh, good, something for Rush to talk about tomorrow.

On any given day, Rusuh (whom I get aggravated with from time to time) has a much larger aidience than Begala.

On my way home, Rush was ranting about pet insurance. I turned him off. Sometimes, he's good, but today was a no-intrest day for me.

I rarely listen to Rush. His big ego turns me off. Most of the time he is right on with his commentaries, but his ego gets in the way. I'm off for the evening, an evening of Christmas. I can't get into the spirit yet until after Thanksgiving. Talk to you all later.

One of the instructors asked for an MRE (Meal, Ready to Eat {3 lies for the price of one}) for some kind of discussion on food science. I'll take one tomorrow, but you can bet I won't be eating it.

I rarely listen to Rush, either. However, if he is ranting about Begala then he isn't ranting at President Bush.

Well, I did watch "Journeys with George" last night, and I'm glad I did. (Do you find it the least bit odd that Alexandra Pelosi's documentary film re-aired on HBO, the night before her mother's big vote for speaker?)

It did provide an excellent insight into the press clymers who were traveling with then Governor Bush, during the campaign. I had also forgotten how many times John McCain was forced to speak out for W., after W. had defeated him in the primaries. It was with absolute pain on his face, that he did so.

Personally, I couldn't stand the MTV-like personality of Alexandra. However, it showed how magnanimous, uniting and forgiving the President is. Particularly, in his relationship with her. I think this documentary was another example of something that was meant for evil, being turned into a positive for our President!

A few weeks ago I rediscovered Rush and now that my teaching day ends earlier I usually listen on my way home. I have a habit of changing stations frequently anyway (you know how men are about having the remote control), but I have noticed that I can take Rush and his ego for only so long before I just have to change stations. I really wish there was something else to listen to, but there's not much...besides the new Public Radio International (NPR + BBC).

I agree that his commentary is usually pretty right on and he tends to be the first to report a lot of stuff, but I wish he would set his ego aside.

The guy I really miss from when I lived in Seattle was Michael Medved. I was a faithful listener when he was on.
