AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 655) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 6, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/06/2002 4:31:08 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

THE SENATE HAS BEEN LIBERATED!!!

THE DASHCLEAN CAPTIVITY HAS COME TO AN END!!!

In the pre-game analysis yesterday, the media pundits, the media talking heads, the leftist prognasticators who are all visionary gave the following pronouncements:

The demoflops would either take control of the House or reduce the GOP majority.

The demoflops would hold on to, or increase, their majority in the Senate.

The demoflops would take a majority of the state houses.

The demoflops would win in the state of Florida.

Now that the game has been played, and the contest settled, it is time to look at the scoreboard.

The headline in today's Washington Pravda says it all:

GOP WINS BOTH HOUSES

1. House - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has at least maintained their current majority. The current status is:

GOP - 226
Criminal Party - 204
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still four races that have not been decided. These are:

CO 07 - GOP leading 48-46% with 88% counted
LA 05 - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidates with 66% of the vote
NM 01 - GOP losing 49-51% with 98% counted
TX 23 - GOP losing 47-52% with 74% counted

2. Senate - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has gained absolute majority. The widow Carnahan has lost her race, so applying Missouri law, Daschle is no longer the Illigitimate Majority Leader, and resumes his correct title of Minority Leader.

LATE BREAKING - MINNESOTA CALLED FOR COLEMAN!

GOP - 51
Criminal Party - 46
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still two races left to call:

Louisiana - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidate with 51% of the vote South Dakota - Thune(R) leads by 949 votes with 99% counted

3. Governors - demoflops FAILED. The GOP retains a majority of the state houses.

GOP - 26
Criminal Party - 19
Can't Decide Which Party - 0

There are still five races to decide:

AL - Incumbent demoflop leads by 3,139 with 100% counted. Likely recount.
AZ - GOP losing 44-47% with 99% counted. Likely recount.
OK - GOP losing by 6,357 votes. Likely recount.
OR - GOP losing 47-48% with 76% counted.
VT - GOP leading 45-42% (13% for 8 minor candidates) with 96% counted.

The demoflops hoped to legitimize Carnahan. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to win in Minnesota with Mondale. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to cashier Jeb Bush in Florida. They failed. JEB WINS BY SEVEN POINTS! NO RECOUNTS, HANGING CHADS, OR MISSING ELECTRONS HERE!!

The demoflops hoped the voters in Northern Virginia and Tidewater Virginia would willingly vote to raise their own taxes. They failed - on both counts.

The demoflops hoped to make the election a referendum that would denounce the President. The President picked up the gauntlet. THE DEMOFLOPS FAILED IN EVERY CATEGORY POSSIBLE!

IT IS A COMPLETE DEFEAT FOR THE CRIMINAL PARTY.

Tomorrow - we get down to business. But...

TODAY - WE RELISH OUR FULL VICTORY.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

I'm sure Dubya will poke his head out to say "Hi"

And that will be about all he will say, IMO. He can't be seen as gloating.

That's our job.

No I have 2 more years left in my term...hehehe!

A retrospective, if you please...

NBC’s Tim Russert: Now, you said in The New York Times last week, “Jeb Bush is gone.” You want to take those words back?

McAuliffe: Of course not. I’ve very excited about what’s going on in Florida.

Russert: He’s going to lose guaranteed?

McAuliffe: Yep. That is why the president was down there yesterday for his 13th visit. People in Florida are energized. They’ve already started the early voting. And if you look at Broward and Dade counties, there are lines already, huge lines, people--record vote coming out in Florida... we are going to win Florida which is going to set us up, Tim, very nicely for 2004.

(NBC’s “Meet The Press,” November 3, 2002)

The rift between the outright communist wing and the Menshevik wing is getting ready to explode. It's fitting that they dragged old fossils like Lautenberg and Mondale back out to run, since the RAT party is about to turn the clock back to the days of George McGovern.

From Frum's Diary:

If you had muted your television this campaign season and watched only the images, it would have looked as if 2002 was a fantasy match-up between George W. Bush and Bill Clinton. There was Bush standing beside some unfamiliar Republican face; here was Bill Clinton with some Dem you’d never heard of. This may seem hard to remember (or believe), but Clinton was once a very popular politician--yet Bush-backed candidates everywhere stomped Clinton’s picks as if the Clintonites were the second coming of Walter Mondale. (The literal second coming of Walter Mondale did not do so well either.)

Instead of making Americans nostalgic for the prosperity of the 1990s, the sight of Clinton’s face seems to have reminded Americans of the irresponsibility that left the country unsafe and unprepared against terror..

Amen.

I'm tempted to wander over to DU and say "Hello you losers!", but I don't really feel like wading through the ooze over there this morning.

THIS IS JUST TOO HILARIOUS!

The Democratic Party was poised to increase its lead in the Senate and perhaps even reclaim the House until it tapped Walter Mondale to replace the late Sen. Paul Wellstone, according to top political strategist Dick Morris.

"The election turned against the Democrats when they nominated Walter Mondale," Morris told NewsMax late Tuesday. "That sent a message to the country that he was their poster child."

Morris: Mondale Torpedoed Dems' Midterm Prospects

I just heard Bill Bennett say that this election was a rupdiation of Clintonism. HURRAY! I hope to hear that phrase echoed and re-echoed throughout the day!

If the Clinton couple were normal, they would see it the same way we do. Unfortunately they are not normal. I can't wait for X-42 to come out of his hole and make a comment about last night. Or his wicked wife for that matter.
