AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 655) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | November 6, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 11/06/2002 4:31:08 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

THE SENATE HAS BEEN LIBERATED!!!

THE DASHCLEAN CAPTIVITY HAS COME TO AN END!!!

In the pre-game analysis yesterday, the media pundits, the media talking heads, the leftist prognasticators who are all visionary gave the following pronouncements:

The demoflops would either take control of the House or reduce the GOP majority.

The demoflops would hold on to, or increase, their majority in the Senate.

The demoflops would take a majority of the state houses.

The demoflops would win in the state of Florida.

Now that the game has been played, and the contest settled, it is time to look at the scoreboard.

The headline in today's Washington Pravda says it all:

GOP WINS BOTH HOUSES

1. House - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has at least maintained their current majority. The current status is:

GOP - 226
Criminal Party - 204
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still four races that have not been decided. These are:

CO 07 - GOP leading 48-46% with 88% counted
LA 05 - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidates with 66% of the vote
NM 01 - GOP losing 49-51% with 98% counted
TX 23 - GOP losing 47-52% with 74% counted

2. Senate - demoflops FAILED. The GOP has gained absolute majority. The widow Carnahan has lost her race, so applying Missouri law, Daschle is no longer the Illigitimate Majority Leader, and resumes his correct title of Minority Leader.

LATE BREAKING - MINNESOTA CALLED FOR COLEMAN!

GOP - 51
Criminal Party - 46
Can't Decide Which Party - 1

There are still two races left to call:

Louisiana - headed to runoff, 3 GOP candidate with 51% of the vote South Dakota - Thune(R) leads by 949 votes with 99% counted

3. Governors - demoflops FAILED. The GOP retains a majority of the state houses.

GOP - 26
Criminal Party - 19
Can't Decide Which Party - 0

There are still five races to decide:

AL - Incumbent demoflop leads by 3,139 with 100% counted. Likely recount.
AZ - GOP losing 44-47% with 99% counted. Likely recount.
OK - GOP losing by 6,357 votes. Likely recount.
OR - GOP losing 47-48% with 76% counted.
VT - GOP leading 45-42% (13% for 8 minor candidates) with 96% counted.

The demoflops hoped to legitimize Carnahan. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to win in Minnesota with Mondale. They failed.

The demoflops hoped to cashier Jeb Bush in Florida. They failed. JEB WINS BY SEVEN POINTS! NO RECOUNTS, HANGING CHADS, OR MISSING ELECTRONS HERE!!

The demoflops hoped the voters in Northern Virginia and Tidewater Virginia would willingly vote to raise their own taxes. They failed - on both counts.

The demoflops hoped to make the election a referendum that would denounce the President. The President picked up the gauntlet. THE DEMOFLOPS FAILED IN EVERY CATEGORY POSSIBLE!

IT IS A COMPLETE DEFEAT FOR THE CRIMINAL PARTY.

Tomorrow - we get down to business. But...

TODAY - WE RELISH OUR FULL VICTORY.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

What you say is true, but I remember both '82 and '84....And as much as I love Reagan, he didn't go out much to campaign for the local Rs. especially in '84 when he had the popularity to do so....THIS President did it, flying in the face of tradition and the usual midterm trends.

I'd like to credit him, too.

Someone over on the THUNE thread said don't be suprised if Daschle and Johnson try to back out that recount they might not want the light turned on those absentee ballots from the Indian Reservations..

I, too, was checking out all of the other stations this morning and heard Imus say something like... the democrats heard Bush pronounce nuclear-nu-cue-lar, and called him a moron. The press picked it up and kept calling him a moron. I wonder if they realize that this MORON just cleaned their clocks!

It's so good to hear the truth from the TV crowd.

About the last I heard was Juan Williams warning the Senate Rs to get along with the Dems!! LOL!

The print edition of the Washington Pravda was also warning Republicans, that they had better not move away from the center! HA!

Good and glorious morning all you wonderful people.

It is a great day to be a Republican. The only disappointments I have are that we now have a dem for governor in TN (although the outgoing Republican gov was a true RINO) and we lost our House seat to a dem.

BTW, the reason we lost that House seat is that Van Hilery was our Rep and he decided to run for governor. I still can't believe he lost to the dem. And it looks like the dems are going to push through a state income tax.

This midterm was the most successful for the party in power in history!!!! Bush has made history by orchestrating such a huge success!!!!

Needs to be repeated...often.

A legacy is being built because it's the last thing on President Bush's mind...unlike you know who.

THIS President did it, flying in the face of tradition and the usual midterm trends.

Don't misunderstand me - I absolutely credit him 100% for pulling this off! It was masterful. I'm simply saying he wasn't the one who decided the election was to be a referendum on George W. Bush, the demoflops did.

He was able to take that challenge, play ON THEIR FIELD, and WIN!

Yes, our President executed marvelously. No detraction here. Nope.

Huge Construction Begins at White House

Crews arrived at the White House this morning for an emergency constrution job. Ground was broken for a huge addition to the White house. A huge room said to contain the worlds largest bank vault is to be constructed. Aids said such a vault is desperately needed to hold President Bush's political capital.

Reports have it the White House staff had called every huge banking firm in the world, but nothing has ever been built big enough to hold the Bush Political Capital.
